Not Alive

About two weeks later I was still new to the whole not going to school thing. But I kinda got it down. But Jason and I haven't spoke since Saturday. I mean I just tried to help. If he hates me he should tell me! I tried to call, it went to voicemail. I texted, he didn't reply. I even emailed, not a! I just don't know what to do. It's now Friday and we haven't even spoke! I guess I should go over to his house, but I don't wanna be shut out. I guess I mean him harm. We should break up, right?
I feel lonely. Dead. No reason to go have fun.
So I decided to visit him. I got dressed and headed over.
"Hey baby, I missed you so much." Jason pulled me in for a long kiss. "If you've missed me, why didn't you answer me!" I pulled away. He glared. "Sorry Bri, I forgot to tell you, my number changed."I got annoyed then. " Jay! What the fuck, let me so we can talk!" He looked stupid. "Oh sorry, um right this way." He lead me in. "Stupid!" I laughed. "What, sorry babe." I looked dead in his eye. "So we're still cool?" He rolled his eyes! "Yes!" I pushed him out the way. I went to his now mom's kitchen and the rest was all here's, as well. "Food!!!" He stood there. "Fat ass!" He laughed. And fixed me a sandwich. I ate while he packed his dad's boxes. His mom still sick, coughing and coughing. She didn't look to well.
After I ate, he took me outside. I saw the anger in his eyes. "What's wrong?" He turned to me. He didn't say crap! He just put his head beneath his legs. Finally a "Nothing." I didn't believe him not one bit. "Tell me, please!?!" Nothing. So I went inside and sat on his bed. His mom came in. "Hello, stranger." She coughed a sarcastic laugh. "How are you, um Ms. Um..." She finished for me. "So you heard, Ms.Riley." I smiled. "Ms.Riley, are you OK?" She nodded no. "I'm sick, sweety, I'm newly divorced and I'm basicly broke." I saw her begin to tear. "Oh, I'm so sorry, I mean I really am, mom." She laughed. "Not yet, that is, stick to your own, she loves you to much." I nodded in agreement. "I know." I hugged her and saw Jason by the door. "Hey mom, we um need to talk, um Brianna and myself." She nodded and left.
"About...?" I finally said.
"About us, more so my family, more so our love." He sat beside me.
"OK, I'm tuned." I kissed his ear. "OK now serious go ahead."
"You know about the split, so um you also know about her sickness, so um it's been hard. But when I took her to the doc's, she said my mother wasn't gonna make it, I don't know how to tell her, love." (That's a word I haven't heard awhile)
"I think she knows, it's like me, I know, you know, everyone knows I'm dying, well everyone is, just us faster."
He stared at me. Then nodded. "Correct, right sorry."
"No no no, baby it's fine, its just Not Alive right?"
He kissed my pink lips. Over and Over. Finally, "I love that book, yes your right." Then he hugged me, tight .

After I left I felt my phone vibrate... Text-She's in the hospital, :-( Love you, Jason.
