CHAPTER -12

SKY'S POV

What the fuck? What he is doing? Why did he pull me towards him?
"What are you doing?"
I said looking up at him. I could see his sharp jaw and stubble. Damnn. No we must focus. Focus Sky. He tightens his hold on my waist and pulls me closer. I gulp at the close proximity.
"I was literally searching the whole Pack House for you but you're here playing hide and seek with the pack pups. Goddess are you a pup?"
He chuckles. I escape from his hold and glare at him.
"The pups begged me to play with them. I couldn't say no to them."
"Fine. I need to talk to you."
He says seriously. I nod for him to talk.
"Not here. Let's go to my office."
"Okay."
I walk ahead of him and enters the office. I sat on the couch and waited for him to talk.
"So the chandelier accident -"
I wince at the memories of yesterday's accident.
"-it's not an accident."
I look at him perplexed.
"Someone did it with the intention of hurting you."
Hurt me? Who would do that? And why? I've never hurt or offended anyone in my life.
"You have to be careful now. Since we think you are targeted. I have asked Aidan to check the CCTV and only you, me, Aidan and few people know about this. Don't tell anyone about this."
"Ok. Good thing i asked Jasper to train me. I can fight the ones who will try to hurt me again."
I saw Isaiah huffing.
"Why him?"
"What?"
"I mean why did you ask him to train you and not me?"
Is he kidding me?
"Because i don't want you to. And you won't have time to train me with the Pack duties. And i don't think i can train after yesterday's accident."
I said the last sentence softly but i think he heard it by the look on his face. He looked guilty. As he should.
"Are you going to train with the warriors?"
"No. He'll train me individually."
Isiah looked uneasy hearing about it.
"Ok."
"Then I'll leave."
He nods and i left the office. I need some omega time. I called Kai and Noah to meet me at the Yoongi's cafe to hangout. I was sitting inside the cafe waiting for Kai and Noah. I ordered a cappuccino 2 vanilla latte and 3 muffins for us. I was looking outside and saw Noah and Kai cross the road. They entered the cafe and walked towards me.
"Hey Sky."
Kai hugged me.
"Hey."
Noah hugged me next. He smelled different? His scent had a hint of milk?
"How are you Sky?"
Kai asked me.
"I'm fine. I ordered for you guys.ĺ
"The usual?"
Noah asks with a smile. I nod. The waiter brought our order to the table. Noah doesn't wait for us he grabs the muffin and shoves it down his throat.
"I need more muffins."
Me and Kai look at him shocked. He's acting weird.
"Are you pregnant ?"
Kai jokingly asks. Noah stops eating and laughs.
"Me? Pregnant?"
He stops laughing when he notices mine and Kai's expression. He stiffens and shakes his head.
"No way. I'm not pregnant."
He says.
"You smell different Noah. Your scent has a hint of milk in it."
"Shit!"
He looked stressed.
"Let's buy a pregnancy test kit and confirm it. Ok?"
He nods and goes back to eating his muffin.
"Oh have they finished checking the CCTV?"
Noah asks me. Kai looks at us confused. Shit. He doesn't know about it.
"Check CCTV footage? What?"
"I'll explain."
I sigh and explained everything to Kai. He was ready to choke that person who tried to hurt me. He made me promise that if we find the culprit he gets to punch him in the face first. We left the cafe a few hours after. On the way we bought a pregnancy test kit for Noah. We went to Noah's room at the Pack House. He dashed to the bathroom with the test. After few minutes he came out.
"Now we wait."
We waited for another 10 minutes before checking the test. Noah took a deep breath and looked at the test.
"It's positive!!"
Me and Kai hugged Noah who was now crying.
"I'm gonna be an uncle!"
I screamed at the top of my lungs.
"shhh don't shout. I have to tell Alex before anyone else knows."
I nod and hugged him again. I looked at my watch to see it was late.
"Guys I'll be leaving now. It's late."
I kissed both their cheeks and ran out. While running i bumped into someone.
"I'm sorry."
"It's okay."
I looked up hearing the familiar voice. Jasper?
"You going somewhere?"
"Yes. Home. I'm late."
"I can drive you there."
I'll reach there fast if he drives me there.
"Ok. Thanks."
He smiles and we walk towards his jeep. The whole ride was filled with little chatter here and there. We reached home in 15 minutes.
"Thank you for driving me home. Bye."
"Bye Sky."
I opened the door and saw Isaiah standing with his arms crossed. He looked angry?
"What were you doing with Jasper?"
Seriously? Was he pissed that I came home with Jasper?
"I hung out with Kai and Noah at the Pack House Jasper dropped me off since it was late."
"You could have called me."
"Yeah. But i didn't want to disturb you."
I knew that he spent his whole afternoon with Evelyn. So i didn't want to see them together. I walked to the kitchen to make dinner but Isaiah stopped me by grabbing my wrist. I looked up at him raising my eyebrows.
"Umm i made dinner."
"Oh."
We made it to the kitchen counter. "You sit here, I'll bring the food."
I nod and sit at the chair near the kitchen counter. He brought two plates of meatballs and spaghetti. My stomach rumbled at the sight. Shit. He chuckles and places one plate before me. We eat quietly not exchanging any words. I took his and my plates and walked to the sink. I washed the plates and dried it. I saw Isaiah coming towards me. Guessing that he wants to talk to me i made my way to my room ignoring him.
"Good night."
"Wait sky-"
I slammed the door on his face. I'm not gonna make it easier for him. If he thinks that saying sorry like last time can fix everything he's wrong. I took a good shower and did my night routine. I should sleep now. I have to train with Jasper tomorrow at 6 am. Hope he goes easy on me. I close my eyes hoping to wake up early tomorrow.

TIME SKIP : MORNING
I woke up at 5.30 and got ready. I wore an old T-shirt and shorts for training. Aidan will pick me up from here. Thank God he didn't ask why Isaiah isn't dropping me off. I don't want Isaiah to drive me to the Pack House. I jump down the stairs and opened the door to see Aidan waiting me in front of his car.
"Ready?"
"Yes. Let's go."
He laughs at my excitement. We reached the pack house in 10 minutes. Aidan went inside to do some work. He told me to wait near the pack grounds and Jasper would come there. I was waiting for Jasper when i heard someone walking. I turn around to see Jasper walking towards me. He was wearing a basketball shorts only .
"Ready for the training?"
"Yes!! But please go easy on me."
"Don't worry. I won't hurt you."
We walked to the ground and faced each other.
"Ok so your feet should be-"
Suddenly he stopped talking and bowed.
"Good morning alpha."
Isaiah? Why is here? I roll my eyes and look at him.
"What are you doing here?"
"Well i used to train here and it's been a long time since i trained so i thought why not train today. Also i could see you train."
Seriously? I can't believe him. I hope i don't embarrass myself before him. I turn back to my position and signalled Jasper to continue.
" Your feet should be at a slightly side angled and knees should be facing the direction of your feet."
I try to do as jasper said but by the look on his face i think I'm doing it wrong. He sighs and comes behind me. He moves my legs apart using his own. A subtle growl was heard when he did that. Did Isaiah just growl? Why would he? I shook off my thoughts and tried to do it correctly.
"Perfect."
He says before moving to his original position.
"Ok. This is easy."
I smiled . Before i know it i was tackled to the ground with Jasper straddling my waist.
"Think it's easy now?"
He asked with that smirk that makes me wanna punch his face. I was about to speak but before I could Jasper was lifted off from my body and dropped to the ground. Isaiah pulled me up and patted the dust off from my body. He was frantically checking me for injuries.
"Are you okay? Does it hurt anywhere?"
There was a look of pure concern on his face.
" You didn't care when i was hurt on the day of the ball. Why do you care now?"
I shrugged off his hands from my shoulder. He was about to say something but Aidan came out of the pack house.
"Alpha!!"
He looks at me before running towards him. Shit! Jasper. I ran where he was standing.
"Sorry about that. Let's continue?"
"It's okay. Any alpha would do the same thing as Isaiah did."
"Ok. Now from the start?"
We trained for another 1 hour until the warriors came. I said goodbye to Jasper and made my way to the pack house. I saw Kai and Noah in the dining table. Noah was eating pickles and jam?eww gross.
"What the fuck are you eating?"
I gagged at him.
"You'll be worse when you are pregnant."
His words made something inside me ache. Will i ever get to carry pups? Probably not. I was about to speak when my phone rang. It was Isaiah. What does he want now? I rolled my eyes and picked up the phone.
"What?"
He sighed and spoke.
"We got the CCTV visuals. We got some dude entering the technical room. He looked suspicious. I'm sending you his photo. Check whether you saw him somewhere."
"Ok. Bye."
I cut the call before he could say anything. My phone dinged notifying me that Isaiah sent me the pic. I opened his chat and looked at the picture of the guy. He looked like an alpha. I don't think he's from our pack because I've never seen him before. I showed the image to Kai and Noah.
"Wait. I've seen him somewhere."
Kai was trying to remember where he saw this guy.
" I saw him with Evelyn."
" Are You sure Kai cause if that's true then..."
If what Kai said is true then how am i gonna say this to Isaiah.
"Yes. I saw them together. They were talking outside. I'm sure it's him."
" Shit!! How am i gonna say this to Isaiah?"
" You know you have to right?"
Kai's right i have to talk to Isaiah even if this hurts him. I sigh and hope that everything goes right.
