"Sam, if you say a word. I mean, a single frickin' word about anything that deals with that kiss. I will hurt you." I threatened, buckling my seat beat in the Impala.
Sam rolled his eyes, leaning back in the back seat. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever Dean."
I narrowed my eyes at him through the rear view mirror. "Promise?"
He let out a dramatic sigh. "Yes. I promise," he whined, crossing his arms over his chest.
I backed out of our driveway, and pulled into Cas's driveway. I had promised Cas I would drive him to school when I had the chance. I think he was more excited than I was about it.
"Wow, what a long drive," Sam said, sarcasm almost visible in the air around him.
"Shut up," I hissed, opening the passenger side door for Cas.
"Hey guys!" Greeted Cas, closing the door behind him.
"Hey, Cas." I noded, giving him a small smile. I pulled out of the driveway, and drove the usual route to school.
"So, Castiel," Sam began, leaning forward in his seat. "How was last night?"
My jaw tightened. That bitch! He promised not to say a word!
I shot deadly glares at Sam through the rear view mirror, hoping that I might start him on fire if I stare hard enough.
"It was nice. The party wrapped up quite nicely," Cas said, smiling.
"Well, isn't that just fantastic." Sam said, giving him a smug smile.
Cas nodded, smiling to himself. "Yes, it was. Especially when Dean kiss-"
"Wow! Looks like we're here!" I exclaimed, interrupting Cas mid-sentence. I was not letting Sam have the satisfaction of Cas admitting what happened last night. He had teased me enough about it. So, hell no.
"Sam get out of the car." I said through gritted teeth, glaring at him through the rear view mirror again.
Sam narrowed his eyes and stuck his tongue out at me before stepping out of the car and slamming the door.
"Be careful to my Baby!" I yelled after he slammed the door. What a bitch.
Cas gave me a questioning look out of the corner of his eye. "You okay, Dean?"
I shook my head, running a hand through my hair.
"Cas, can I ask you something?" I asked, swallowing my nervousness.
I went over what I wanted to ask in my head, making sure I can get the point across clearly.
I know Cas likes me, he told me last night. And after thinking about it over the weekend, I know I like him too. And well, we did kiss already- and I did like it. So, does that make us... together?
I squeezed my eyes shut, before opening them again to see Cas still sitting next to me, waiting patiently for me to ask my question.
"Cas," I began. "So I know that you like me, right? And I've been thinking, I like you as well..." I paused, searching his face to make sure I was heading in the right direction.
"So, does that mean we are like, together...?" I asked, giving him an awkward smile.
His face was expressionless at first, but then his lips curled up into a smile.
"Well, if by 'together', you mean I can kiss you more often. Then yes, I would hope we could be together." He said, a light blush coloring his cheeks.
I grinned this time, shaking my head. "You're something else, Cas. You know that?"
He shrugged, smiling to himself. "I know."
"Good," I said, laughing lightly. "I think we should get to class now. First period is about to start."
We both stepped out of the Impala, and slung our book-bags over our shoulder.
"Can I hold your hand, Dean?" asked Cas, as we walked to the school's entrance.
My lips twitched up into a smile.
"I'd like that." I said, glancing over at him as we walked.
He grinned, and interlaced his fingers with mine. I was happily surprised on how well his hand fit with mine, causing a warm feeling inside me.
As we walked through the front doors, I didn't care that people were staring at us. I was happy, and nothing could take me down from this roller coaster that only went up.
