As I was heading towards the classroom, Shria pulled my arm & took me at the corner. I noticed Prerna would always try to pull me down when Bhuvan wasn't around, maybe she cared about her image in front of him.

Prerna- (To Aashima) I see you love flying high....

Shria- (To Aashima) So here's our pitch. Follow these rules

Prerna- if you disobey, we'll make you look like a fool

Aashima- Really? Go ahead...

Shria- Rule no.1, don't try to act smarter & look good than us

Aashima- But I can't help...

Prerna- Oh, Shut up! Number 2, adjust your attitude
No one wants a girl who looks & acts like a dude

Aashima- I don't want nobody to want me either...

Prerna- Rule No.3 (To Shria) repeat after me, we run this school & don't take shit from nobody...

Aashima- You know what? Mujhe tum dono mein aur tumhari powers mein koi interest nahi hai. And baat rahi logon ka mujhe pasand karne ki, that's just because of the fu***n attitude you guys are talking about. So just get out of my way & stop giving ne directions. Abtak pyaar se samjha rahi thi, agli baar maybe na karun...

And I left. It was high time I didn't spoke for myself just for the sake that she was Bhuvan's gf & I thought I could befriend her. But she was just out of the way. This act of mine enraged her...

Prerna- (To Shria) OMG, did she just tried to put me down?

Shria- Try nahi, she actually did.

Prerna- Wtf? How dath (* this is how she pronounced 'dare') she?? I'm not gonna spare her...

Shria- Okay, but abhi lets go in.

They entered the class while I went to my place, sat besides Banchoddas & he smiled at me in his most appealing way. His smile was & is contagious, I swear. I enquired about the next class & it was economics & so, I took out the book & opened it. He glanced into it & shockingly said- "Ye kya hai" which frightened me. "Kya hua? Kuch hai kya idhar?" I enquired & started looking at the desk. "Nhi, par ye book mein itna saara kya underline karkar rakha hai?"

Aashima- (took a breath) Goddamn! Tumne toh dara hi diya tha. Ye toh bas important points highlight kiye hai maine. Mujhe laga pata nhi kya dekh liya tumne...

Bhuvan - Par school khuli huye toh 2 hi din huye?

Aashima- Aur jo 2-3 months ki holidays thi?

Vansh - Matlab tumne poori book
khatam kardi? (I nodded)

Bancho - Ahh, tum ladki ho ya kya ho? Poori book khatam ban... (Started overreacting as if he were fainting)

Arshia - Exactly yaar, hum toh exam
time tak bhi nhi khatam kar paate tumne holidays mein hi?

Aashima- Hehe holidays mein bhi nhi, maine 10th mein rehte rehte hi start kar diya tha preparation accounts ka. I love reading, jab koi book nhi bachti toh course ka ho read karti hoon.
