CHAPTER 2 Part 13

RECAP- Aashima was heading towards the canteen with Banchoddas while Sid & Raj approached her further. The story now continues.....

We were at the canteen as I didn't brought lunch from home that day & even after the recess, had been feeling hungry. And at the canteen, mostly the entire batch of class 11th as well as 12th & some juniors would be present after the school ended. Bancho insisted to bring me something & went to the counters while the two of them enquired about my plans that day & I told them it was nothing special- had my coaching & would be working on my dress & would study. Suddenly Sid enquired about whether I wasn't attending my coaching since some days, which I denied.

And to my surprise, Raj literally went on to ask me- "Mere saath bahar chalna pasand karogi? Ghoomenge toh accha lagega" Listening to which, Sid leaped on to him & said- "Chutiye, ye toh mujhe bolna tha" and indulged in verbal & physical agitation. They were just on the verge of fighting & even Bancho was stirred up, hearing that. The girls stared at me with envy as well as awe & were mumbling something among them.

Before the boys end up in a vicious fight, I tried to calm them & said- "Arrey ladte kyun ho? Dono saath chalo na" and both of them denied together. Raj added- "Yaar ye nahi pata kidhar se beech mein aa gaya, ab tum hi batao kiske saath pehle chalna pasand karogi" & I was like- "How should I decide? Tum dono hi toh mere friends ho, can't choose any one"

And Mansi mumbled to me- "Yaar Aashima... tu kar kya rhi hai? Say yes to Sid, omggg.." & Riya as well as Bhumi insisted too while Bancho just stood there still with a plate of momos in his hand, which he luckily didn't dropped. I still asked the boys to decide among themselves but there had been so much pressure on me at that moment, the girls were continuously insisting to choose Sid while the boys handed over the decision to me, that when the guys refused again, I had to choose Raj.

I could notice Raj being the only person happy there, while Sid & Bancho were disappointed & the girls took a breath of relief. But the ones who really cared for me- Arshia, Riya, Esha, etc stared at me with disappointment. But there had been a solid reason as to why I haven't chosen Sid which was known only to me.

We decided to meet for a brunch that day after the school at 1. Raj insisted to pick me up from my place & also asked for my contact number & both the proposals got denied by me as I still had trust issues, didn't wanted him to have my number or address. But he unarguably agreed & told he'll share the venue over Instagram & left, while I assured Sid to go out with him some other day as I had been awaiting something special on Sunday. Both the guys left while I noticed Aarif, the khabri or the reporter of our batch rushed around to spread everything he had just seen & heard. I rejected Sid & chose Raj. I knew that by Monday, the whole school would get to know everything. After that, Bhuvan approached Bancho & discussed something with him.

"Kya baat hai Banchoddas? You okay na" I enquired as he wasn't seeming alright. "Haan, kuch bhi toh nahi hua hai banc... bas momos thande ho rahe the" he replied & taking a breath of relief, I offered him & Bhuvan to sit beside me & the girls were just going gaga.

Preeti - Yaar Aashima, I can't believe your luck yaar!"

Bhumi - Exactly yaar! Abhi aaye huye ek hafta hi mushkil se hua ki Raj aur Sid dono ke saath date bhi plan ho gaya.

Bancho - (hastily) Koi date shate nhi hai banc... bas khana khaane jaa rhe hai dono...

Riya - Kyun? Tum jealous ho rhe ho?

Bhuvan - Nahi, bhala ye kyun jealous hoga? (Whereas he was! And I was hearing Bhuvan after a literal long that day)

Esha - Haan bilkul hoga, khud thodi na jaa paaya hai kabhi..
