Once we touched down to the Hawaiian airstrip for private planes, and got all our bags out and into the rental car, we looked for a place where we could set up shop for a while. We drove around until we found what looked to be an abandoned parking garage. Not abandoned like there was no one there, but abandoned like no one had been there for a couple years. It was on the edge of Pearl City, and the only other building around for miles was a rundown motel.

We suited up, and made our way to the coast under the cover of darkness. We got into one of those military Dinghies that was just sitting there, and Eric managed to hot-wire it. As we sailed to Paragon Island, we got to talking. "So what's the battle plan gonna be?" Eric asked as he looked over his 1911. "We're gonna go in there, rain the fury of the Gods upon those assholes, and then we'll be home in time for burgers. Sounds good?"

"Sounds good to me. Ooh, can I put bacon on mine?" Jacob asked. "Jacob, when we get our money back, you can get all the bacon you want." I started looking over my gun. "Ahh, the M134 Minigun." Victoria sighed, "American made, chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO rounds. Rotary six barreled design, able to ire at 2,000 to 6,000 rounds a minute."

We all stared at her, except for Jacob, who had to keep his eyes on the water. "How do you know so much about guns?" I asked her. She was stuttering hard. "I-uh-well-i jus-i.''

Then she took a moment to calm herself down, and spoke again. "My dad made me learn about guns. He was some big military guy, a Captain, or a Colonel, or some shit. He wanted me to be "The Captain's Daughter! Muscles bigger than redwoods, able to crush the Red Scare with a slam of her fist!

"Mind you, the USSR had been dismantled for about 20 years at that point." Victoria looked longingly out into the sea, twirling her hair. We all stared at her. "God," I began to say. "That sounds awful." Victoria looked at me, and I saw a hint of tears in her eyes. Jacob turned around. "Hey guys, eyes up, we're here."
