*Cklek!*

The sound of the door opening was heard throughout the tavern. There, stood Taufan, inspecting his area to find his fellow friends. The said boy immediately closed the door of the now quiet tavern. Time flies and it was already night. Many of the tavern's customers already went home, only a few stayed.

The wind elemental flinched when he saw a red haired man, talking to the brown haired bartender. Quickly, and of course silently, he crept behind them and succesfully made it to the stairs without getting caught. As he made it upstairs, he was met by Venti, Lumine, and Paimon, hiding in some dark corner of the second floor's tavern. "Hey guys, what's going on?" Taufan approached the trio and asked them. Lumine and Paimon were shocked when someone approached them, while the green bard just smiled.

"Shh... keep it down. We're being chased." Venti whispered quietly, while holding his finger in a shushing voice. Taufan was clueless at first. What could the green bard mean? Suddenly, he remembered bunch of Knights of Favonius guards chasing after them. "What did you guys do-" Before the wind elemental could finish his outburst, Lumine quickly covered Taufan's mouth before he could attract some unwanted attention. "Relax, we were just going to borrow the Holy Lyre." Venti answered on Lumine's behalf, he looked relaxed with the calmest smile.

"Not really." Paimon spoke in the background with the most deadpan face. "Oh right, ehe." The green bard stuck his tongue in the most silly way as possible, while also rubbing the back of his head. Lumine and Paimon groaned hearing his iconic 'ehe' while Taufan sweatdropped. 'It's a good thing I didn't come along, or else...' Suddenly, the image of his earth elemental brother smiling at him with dark aura behind came to his mind. He went pale when he thought about his earth elemental brother summoning his big earth hand to yeet him to space.

Gosh, it sent him shivers when thinking about it. "Hey... I think they're done now..." Lumine quietly responded, looking at the Knight and customers leaving. Taufan broke out of his thought, looking at the now empty tavern and a certain red head he wanted to avoid. He quietly went back into a corner, but it was a failure when Venti grabbed his hand. "Come on, let's go!" The bard exclaimed, followed by the traveler + floating pixie, and a reluctant wind elemental.

How did he get here? That was what Taufan was asking himself. He could see the red haired man's eyes bore deep into Taufan's figure. He first thought the red haired man kinda acted like his lightning elemental brother, but then, he was reminded of a certain admiral. He didn't really wanna mess with him now. "Why are you here?" If words could kill, the red haired's words could easily kill Taufan instantly.

"A-ah Master Diluc. It's good to see you again." The wind elemental replied, quivering like a leaf while also keeping a smile. The trio looked back and forth between Taufan and Diluc. "Uh, what's up between you two?" Paimon asked, breaking the silence between the tense stare down. Charles, the bartender, replied to Paimon's question. "The kid is banned from entering Angel's Share." He replied calmly while packing all of his stuff.

"What happened?" The traveler asked. What did the wind elemental did to make him banned from this tavern. Charles sighed, picking up his bag of stuffs to carry. "Apparently, the kid had caused enough troubles for Master Diluc. Last time, he gave some cookies to Master Diluc that made him into a coma for three days straight." With that explanation, Taufan smiled sheepishly, Lumine and Paimon went pale when they heard mention of those cookies, Diluc looked away, while Venti only looked confused.

And with that, Charles excused himself for the night, leaving only 4 people in the tavern now. "Back to the topic, I want answers." Diluc said, looking at the four with sharp eyes, especially to a certain wind elemental. "If I tell you the story with a performance, will you believe me?" The green bard asked. "It depends. I'll make my own judgment." Diluc replied, crossing both his arms. Suddenly, a sly smile appeared on Venti's face.
