Attack On The Snow

(6 months later: No Pov)

Miyuki, Masashi, and Tsuki ran through the halls of the castle laughing. A cheif was chasing them frantically with soup all over him. The trio ran behind a corner of the wall. Miyuki made a hand sign and ice froze on the floor. The chef didn't notice and slipped. He stared yelling and cursing the young children. The trio just giggled.  Suddenly they heard a deep

"Ehem"

The children slowly turned to see Chi, Masashi's guard standing there. They all shouted at the same time and ran. They ran until they seen Avaron who happened to be looking for Miyuki.

"Miyuki-Hime!" The trio came to a stop. They all looked at Avaron in wonder.
"It's time to go now." Avaron said causing The children to sigh.

"Is it that time already?" Masashi asked, wishing their time wouldn't come to a end.

"I'm afraid so Denka-Sama. " Avaron replied.
They all slowly and sadly made there way to the front doors.  It was always sad when Miyuki and Tsuki had to leave Masashi. After seeing him for a weeky month for the past 6 months, they'd become adjusted to each other.

When they finally got to the front doors everyone was there to wave them off like usual.
"See ya next month Oujo-Chan and Tsuki-Chan." Masashi said while standing by his father. The girls waved and then they were on their way.
After the days worth of travel they made it home. Avaron walked ahead to the castle while Miyuki and Tsuki we stormed by young villagers.

The villagers kept saying, trying to get the princess's attention. Miyuki patiently answered their questions about her trip and her fiance.

Half and hour of questions later the two girls finally made their way to the castle. They walked to the queen's chambers and knocked. The door swung open revealing Koyuki and Avaron.

"Miyuki." Koyuki quickly rushed to Miyuki with arms wide open, hugging her daughter tightly within her arms. That night like usual they discussed the week with her fiance.
When they finished talking Miyuki and her lady went to Miyuki's room.  Tsuki stood in the doorway holding the side of the door.

"Alright, Good night now m'lady."  As Tsuki went to close the door her Princess stopped her.

" Wait a second Tsuki-Kun, stay the night in my chambers."

" You sure m'lady? "

"Yes I'm sure, I feel I'll need your protection tonight. " Miyuki said sarcastically and playfully. "Bring us hot chocolate and cookies, and you can borrow one of my night gowns."
Tsuki nodded and did as she was told with a smile. To most extent Tsuki didn't mind being Miyuki's lady. She loved Miyuki just as the rest of the village did. After a while no one really disliked her. Only those who didn't know her hated her. Those closest adored her, They knew her story and her pain.

Tsuki came back into the room holding a tray full of cookies with two Sandy colored mugs filled with hot chocolate that smelled of oozing chocolate and cinnamon. She sat the tray down on the night stand by the bed.
Tsuki closed the door at the exact moment another loud sound made its way through the halls. 
" What was that?! " the princess asked as she squeezed Mr.Snowman and they listened harder for another noise. It was extremely late and no one was awake besides the two girls and perhaps the queen from their late night chat.

There was silence through the castle again and all seemed well.

Till...

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!"

A woman's scream was heard and the castle alarms went off. 
Tsuki ,who had been trained for this,  quickly pulled the princess off her bed. Miyuki passively went along and followed her friend as she lead her to the queens room swiftly.
Once inside the queen launched herself at her daughter making sure she was okay.
" Oka-Sama what's happening??" Miyuki said, head full of confusion.

" They're here. I need you to take this. " she handed me this Hexagonal crystal that was made into a necklace. "Hold tight to it and do not let it fall into the wrong hands."

"Kogo-Sama what code is this?? " Koyuki looked seriously at the young girl.

" Code Black." The green haired girls eyes widened and then she bowed to her queen understanding to full intent what she must do.

" What's code Black?!  And what's going on?  What's happening? " the princess frantically asked.

" Tsuki is going to take you far away from here to another village. You'll be safe there for the time being and they will decide what to do from there. I need you to know that despite our short time together I love you just like any mother loves their child and I see myself in you--"

" Wait, what are you talking about stop talking as if your not coming!" Koyuki smiles despite the sadness in her eyes.

"I believe in you to the fullest extent, you have the power and the heart to control yourself and be who ever you want. Never forget where you came from and who you really are." She hugged and kissed her daughters head.

"I'll try to get you when things die down. But for now I must stay." Miyuki nodded and followed Tsuki to a hidden passage knowing little that this would be the last time she saw her loving mother.
As the two young girls ran through the passage way with Tsuki holding her friends hand and leading her while she held Mr.Snowman tightly. 

" Wait, who's going to protect her? " Miyuki asked almost shouting.

" She will be fine,  right now I'm just worried about protecting you. " Miyuki stopped running and Tsuki kept trying to pull her but she was barely moving.

" Come on we can't stop let's go! "

"And what? Leave her to die, she can't defend herself! She's my mother!! " Tsuki looked deep into the eyes of her friend. She knew that she wouldn't change her mind.  Tsuki thought for a second. She quickly came to a conclusion.

"Okay this passage is a straight path. Avaron will be waiting for you. Go and I'll take care of your mother. " Miyuki quickly hugged Tsuki and ran off.  Tsuki watched not knowing how long she would be without her friend. Sadness filled her heart as she ran to try to help the queen.

Miyuki ran for a long time until she found the end of the passage. Just as her friend told her Avaron was standing there waiting. She came put the passage to see she was on the edge of the land of snow which at the moment was the land of spring.  A big boat waited in the water.

" Where is Tsuki? " Avaron looked around asking.

" She went back to help my mother. " Avaron nodded understanding the situation. She grabbed Miyuki's arm leading her to the boat in a rush. When they reached it a large group of ninja came.

A large man shouted. " There she is!  Don't let her escape. "

Avaron turned to a guard and handed Miyuki to him.

"Make sure the princess arrives in safety. Go now! "

" Wait Avaron what about you?! " Miyuki said with widened eyes.

" It has been an honor Miyuki-Hime. "

After that the guard dragged a protesting Miyuki onto the boat.  They started to sail away and the ninja attacked Avaron and the group of guards with her.  As they closed Miyuki could still see Avaron fighting.

The large man finally caught Avaron, Miyuki watched and screamed as her beloved teacher was punched through the heart and brutally murdered. Miyuki dropped to her knees and screamed out Avaron's name. Her face now traumatized. She sat there the whole way feeling nothing but her chest sinking in more and more each minute as the day replayed.
