Meet Mashiro Sakagami

Mashiro Sakagami is a mute girl attending a private high school in Japan. (At least, that was what was written on her data.) Mashiro's hobbies include blogging, sketching, and daydreaming. She agreed to meet with Evening at the park where Kaede talked to her for the first time.

Mashiro answered the questions through e-mailing, since Evening was not knowledgeable of the American sign language.

ESL: Hi, Shiro-chan! Thanks for coming.

MS: (blushes in slight embarrassment)

ESL: I'm Evening, and I have a few questions for you. Would you be willing to answer them?

MS: (nods)

ESL: Great! So we-my pals and I, were curious as to how you became mute. Would you tell us the story behind it?

MS: [ I haven't really given that much of importance about my disability... My mom said I was born a normal child-no disabilities. I was told that I had lost my voice when I was three. ]

ESL: I see. Moving on, why or how did you have a crush on Kaede? You two see each other a lot at the train, right? Have you always noticed him looking at you?

MS: (eyes widen from shock, avoids gaze, bites lower lip, doesn't reply)

ESL: Should we ask Kaede about this, instead? Want me to call him? (unlocks phone)

MS: [ No, no! It's just *incomplete message* ] (face reddens in embarrassment)

ESL: Hmm?

MS: [ It's nothing! ]

ESL: (dials Kaede's number)

[ Kaede Shiori: You are now in line with the awesome Kaede Shi-wait (pauses for a while), who are you? ]

ESL: It's Evening-

[ KS: What? Evening? But the sun's still up and kickin'! Anyway- ]

MS: (giggles)

ESL: (sighs) This is Eve, the girl who called you-

[ KS: I remember now! You're the one who made me confess to white cat! So, where are you? ]

ESL: At your tree in the park, near Mashiro's house.

[ KS: OK! I'll just grab some melon bread, I'll come over! Bye! (ends call) ]
