(Spyro's pov)
"Hey, Spyro!" Eruptor called. I looked down at the lava skylander I was now carrying in my claws.
"Yeah? Too tight? Not tight enough? Airsick?" I questioned smiling ready to make Him even more airsick if needed.
"No. But I was wondering if you had a guess about which Source this is?" Eruptor asked.
"Mmm. Well, there are a few things it could be. It's not the eternal water source since it was eaten by a monster and didn't take on a monster form and there is no water around here. It's not the Magic source either. That leaves only a few sources left," I recalled.
"And what are those?" Rainbow wondered flipping over.
"Well, the only eternal sources that became big monsters or were surrounded by monsters according to memory are Earth, Tech, fire, Life, Undead, and maybe the eternal light and dark source, But I don't know about them," I admitted.
"What's that mean?" Cynder questioned.
"Well, there was no eternal dark or light source in the core of light," I replied.
"Uh, Excuse me but what in Celestia is an eternal source?" Rainbow interrupted.
Sighing I took a deep breath ready to explain.
"Eternal sources are like never-ending power sources of elemental magic kid. Think of them like the lettuce in a salad," Eruptor interrupted. I let out a huff of annoyance.
"Ha! Sorry, buddy didn't mean to take the wind out of your wings. Still wanna explain it?" Eruptor chuckled.
"Please no! Spyro can take hours to explain something. Like really! Who needs to know that the moon reflects the sun's light? I DON'T THAT'S WHO!" Rainbow groaned. Cynder erupted into laughter falling for a second.
I rolled my eyes and muttered about not answering her questions again before flying further ahead.
"Look It's the plains! We've gotta be close," Cynder snickered still giggling.
"Yeah, yeah it's sooo funny," I grumbled. I looked down and could see imprints on the ground. Continuous imprints.
"Options of what it could be slowly shrinking..." I whispered. Then up ahead I started to hear the sounds of machinery. And not long after it came into view.
"What is that thing!" Rainbow gasped.
"It's the troll super tank, It's being powered by the eternal tech source," I announced.
"How in Skyland's are we meant to take that thing out?" Cynder stammered.
"Well, usually it was bombed, But I think we can take it out with some good lava!" I smiled looking down at eruptor.
"Hello, Is everypony just gonna ignore those monster's down there!" Rainbow cried.
"Oh, trolls. Yeah, we'll have to take them out first but as long as we-" I started before something flashed in the corner of my eye.
"Spyro what is it?" Cynder questioned flying up to me.
"It's nothing... Here you take Eruptor down and fight those trolls. I've gotta check something out." I handed Eruptor over to cynder and flew off towards some ruins.
Landing down I looked around.
"Hello? Who's there?" I called trying to get a response.
"Spyro... Spyro the dragon... Spyro the coward... Spyro the traitor..." A voice whispered. The light flashed off something to my left and I immediately turned towards it growling. But nothing was there.
