"Kinn!" Porsche ran up to Kinn who was shot in the arm. Kinn flinched in pain but tried to get himself together to not worry Porsche.

"Vegas! You know what will happen if you continue!" Kinn shouted at Vegas who was holding the gun tightly while smirking slightly.

"Yeah, I do... I came here knowing that..." Vegas pointed the gun at Porsche. Kinn instantly covered Porsche behind him. It didn't take long for the bodyguards to find them and point their guns directly at Vegas's head.

"What did you do to Pete?"

"I... Killed him."

"You- you can't! You would never hurt Pete!!"

"Porsche, I came here knowing the end. Why would I leave Pete in this world?"

"You're disgusting..."

Porsche pitied Pete so much, to the point that he felt his eyes water. He thought to himself that how could a person be so disgusting, not even showing mercy on the person he loves.

Porsche raised his gun, they stood there staring at each other for a while. Guards were ready to shoot Vegas, they were waiting for him to just take a step forward.

"Vegas!"

Suddenly a voice startled everyone. When guards were about to fire, thick smoke covered the whole room making it impossible to see.

"Shit he's running away! Follow hi–"

"No, retreat!"

Kinn ordered his men while raising a finger. Everyone stopped, Kinn looked at Porsche and nodded slightly. They waited for the smoke to fade.

Porsche held Kinn's arm helping him to stand back up. Kinn leaned on Porsche's shoulder making it seem like he was only resting. But he was trying to whisper something.

"Did you recognize the voice?"

"Yeah... But didn't he say he killed him?"

"I doubted that."

Porsche stood there for a while starting at Kinn. They both were in such a bad situation that they didn't know what to do.

"Pete! How did you–?!"

"You stupid! I'm the head bodyguard, simple sleeping pills don't affect me!"

"Run away! Have you lost your mind, why did you come here?"

"I came here for you! I can't let you die, you can't leave me alone!"

Pete got red from anger which was kinda cute to Vegas. He smiled to himself thinking that in such dangerous situations, Pete made him forget every problem he had.

Just for a moment, he wanted to confess to Pete. He wanted to tell how much he loves Pete, the way he smiles, smells, his eyes, his hair, everything.

But the only thing he could do was just stare deeply into those dark eyes before he loses them forever.

"Vegas, let's run away..."

Sudden words froze Vegas in his place. Did he just hear it right? Pete wanted to leave with him, take him away just only two of them?

Vegas opened his mouth to agree but then he remembered his purpose in this life. Taking the lead, defeating Kinn. Vegas worked for this purpose all his life now how could he just leave...

On the other hand, Pete was on the verge of tears. He was ready to fall on his begging Vegas to just leave with him. Pete was ready to sacrifice his loyalty to the main family ready to die with Vegas.

"Please Vegas..." Pete held on to his arms, holding Vegas tightly. Vegas blinked a few times as he averted his gaze from Pete.

Vegas pushed Pete's hands away, just when he was about to turn around Pete hugged him from behind not letting him leave. Vegas shook his head trying his best to resist, but hearing Pete's pleads were so heartbreaking for him.

In the end, he couldn't take it anymore. Vegas turned around and held Pete's cheeks between his hands. He wiped his tears and took Pete into his embrace.

"Alright, Pete... I'm ready to leave it all for you. Let's go..."
