It was always Scarlett, Jo and Brandy. Together forever. Scarlett was the quiet insecure one. That's just the way she was. Her friends got the boys and had the audacity to do anything. They pushed her to be herself. Jo and Brandy. She loved them so much. She really did.

Then there's her dad. Her mom left when she was a child, but her dad was enough. He cared so much. She loved him endlessly. And her little brother Michael, the 8 year old comeback boy. But they were her family. Her only family. And it was all her fault. It wasn't suppose to happen this way. It wasn't suppose to happen at all.

" Scarlett, you ready ? " my dad yelled

" Yeah coming" I said while zipping my suitcase. A road trip to Disney World. Wow. A vacation, just the 3 of us. I'm so excited.

I walked down the stairs dragging my suitcase. " I'll put my bag in the trunk" i said

" Okay honey, when your done we can leave. Everyone go to the bathroom?! "

" Yes dad " I laughed walking outside to the truck. I picked up my luggage and placed it in the trunk " Ah " I smiled satisfied, closing the trunk

" Come on boys, let's get this show on the road! " I yelled from outside

" Okay, okay geez I'm coming." Michael said walking slowly to the car

" You excited? " I asked smiling
" Duh, of course I am Scarr were going to Disney World!" He jumped excitedly

" Sorry guys" my dad walked out saying holding the keys in his hand.

He goes to open the door and starts the car. I hop in next to him smiling. I grab my headphones grab my pillow and sleep, yes I sleep.

" Scarr? " I felt pushing, who's pushing me, ow that hurts. Who is doing this? I open my eyes

"Oh." I said it was my dad " Where are we ?"

" At the gas station. Gonna fill it up, be right back."

"K" I mumbled rubbing my eyes. I looked to the back and sure enough Michael was sleeping. I turn on the radio.

I see dad walking back, and he opened the door sat and sighed, " Ready? " he asked. " Wait- I stopped him. " Can I drive?" I asked " it's fine Sca- " Please, you look tired you should sleep." I interrupt him

" Uh well okay" he agrees handing me the keys " but only for a bit okay?" He yawns

" Okay." I answer

After about 2 hours of driving I start getting kinda tired, but dad's sleeping I don't want to wake him. I'll just keep driving.

I look to the side of the road, wow look at that view. I look back to the street yawning.

I'm so thirsty, oh where is that water bottle I brought? Oh there it is! By dad's feet.
I went to grab my water bottle by his feet, almost, almost, got it I said coming back up. And that's when everything happened. When everything went in slow motion. I come up and there it is a semi truck coming straight for us. DAD- Is the last thing I can choke out before everything went black
