Ch 25: Chloe and Rimuru

Chloe had said goodbye to Shizuku and Kaori. She had received a request from Shizuku that if she found an orange cat out there she would take care of it, but Chloe may have taken this request too seriously.

She decided to look for the cat. She thought that since she had nothing to do while waiting for Rimuru, she could look for Missy.

She searched the town and found nothing. She looked for traces of the cat and found something. She found out about a little girl who was a merchant's daughter. There were reports of people who saw her leaving town with an orange cat.

Chloe asked where the little girl went, and was told Fhuren. Chloe went to Fhuren and found the girl. The girl told her that the cat ran away on the way to town and never showed up again.

Chloe(Who was taking this favor too seriously) searched all the way between the capital and the city of Fhuren. She finally found Missy.

Somehow Missy ended up in a wheat field and Chloe found her on the side of the road.

"What a taken kitten" Chloe thought and was lecturing Missy when....

"Chloe!!!"

Someone called her name. Only then did Chloe realize that she was surrounded by people. She looked at the person who called her name and when she saw her heart leapt. Beautiful face, long blue hair and black clothes. It was her beloved.

"Rim...Ngh!?"

Chloe didn't even get a chance to call his name as she received a passionate kiss. She was surprised at first, but continued the kiss.

Hajime, Yue and Shia had surprised and confused expressions. To them Rimuru was kissing a pretty girl he didn't even know. That could be considered a crime.

Sakura had already imagined who was this person and was happy for the reencounter.

Chloe finally managed to pull her lips apart and said

"Rimuru-san!"

"It's good to see you Chloe."

He hugged her and stroked her head. She seemed happy about it and hugged him tightly.

The 3 were confused as the girl who was apparently being harassed knew Rimuru's name.

"I'm glad you're okay."

"Hmm. Me too."

Chloe began to shed tears of joy at the unexpected reunion.

"Hey, what's going on here?"

Hajime broke the silence and asked what Shia and Yue also wanted to understand. Rimuru stopped hugging Chloe.

"Guys, this here is my fiancée Chloe."

He pulled Chloe around the waist as he spoke. Chloe remembered that there were more people here and was a little embarrassed, but she spoke

"Ni...nice to meet you. My Name is Chloe Albert."

She bowed.

"Fufu."

What do you mean fiancée!? The 3 were even more confused and Sakura laughed at their reaction.

Sakura approached them and spoke.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Chloe. Rimuru-san has told me very well about you. It will be great to have you with us. This is Hajime, Yue and Shia and I'm Sakura. I want to let you know as soon as possible that I'm in love with Rimuru-san. I hope we can get along well."
