Chapter 2

  "Hey, dinner is done." Nora says, breaking me out of my trance. I look at her and she smiles. "Come on, we need to find a seat before the rush of kids come."
     I look at her confused. "I'm serious they will literally fight over seats and I don't want to be involved in those fights." I giggle as I follow her downstairs.
     "I'm sure it's not that bad." I tell her assuming she's exaggerating it a bit. "Fine, don't believe me just wait and see." She says as she rolls her eyes and smiles slightly.
     I walk down the hallway and follow her downstairs. Nora takes me through a lot of twists and turns and finally we make it to what looks like a cafeteria. And I say cafeteria because it has at least 8 tables all with about 5 chairs around them. Each table is about 6 feet away from the others.
     There's a huge table in the front of the "dining room" that is completely covered with different types of food. Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken, pasta, salad, sandwiches, pizza, the list goes on and on.
     There's also a huge chandelier that's hanging in the middle of the "dining room". The chandelier is very fancy. It has diamonds and gems hanging off it. And it has many little lights around the outside of it is those fairy light things. And then a huge light in the middle of it.
     "Excuse me but are you done admiring the dining room yet so we can sit down or do you want me to just stand here all day." Nora says and I roll my eyes. "I'm coming, I'm coming."
     She giggles and leads me to a table that's right next to a huge window. Oh boy, just what I want. To look outside at the forest and fence as I eat my food.
     Nora taps my shoulder and waves her hand indicating she wants me to follow. She takes me to the huge table of food. Everything looks amazing but I'm not really hungry right now especially because I just want to go back home. I'm in a new place and it's very creepy and strange. So I just got a soda and a small plate of butter bread because Nora insisted on me eating at least something. We get back to our table.
     And now I see why she said we need to get here early. At least 30 kids come running in here. They all run to their tables and sit down to claim their table for them and their friends. And by kids I mean anyone from the ages 12-19. Most of them look to be at least 15.
     So most of them are high schoolers. Nora's friends come over and sit with us. They all are very pretty. Her friend Lily has very light blonde, basically white hair. She has beautiful brown eyes and she's pretty short. She's only 4'10 maybe 4'11 but I can't talk because I'm only 5'2.
     And Nora's other friend Amber. She has light brown skin and prettiest green eyes I've ever seen. They're light green and look so cute. And her hair. She has red curly hair which makes her look even more beautiful.
     Anyways Nora, Amber and Lily are talking to each other and I'm just staring out the window at the dumb forest and fence I'm going to have to get used to. Ella is sitting with a group of kids her age which is good. That means she's making friends. Which is a lot better than me. I just have Nora. Which is fine, I don't need anyone else.
     Suddenly the room goes quiet. I look around and finally I spot what basically everyone's looking at. 5 guys. They're all dressed in black and they're all super hot. They walk to the middle table. They walk as though they rule this place and everyone knows it. And I'm assuming they do since everyone shut up as soon as they walked in.
     I stare at the guys. One has very light hair like Lily but even lighter. He has the prettiest blue eyes I've ever seen. Another guy has tan skin, dark curly hair and beautiful caramel colored eyes. One of the other guys had brownish blonde hair and green blue eyes. The 4th guy has brown hair, green eyes and is super muscular.
     And the last guy who is probably the hottest guy out of the group. He has black hair and super dark brown eyes. They basically look black. He has a scar right above his eyebrow which makes him even hotter.
     All of them are tall, at least 5'11. Which is almost a foot taller than me. I've been staring at them for too long. I force myself to look away. And I look outside.
     "Hey new girl." I hear some guy say. I turn and see a huge guy. He has brown hair, green eyes, is very muscular and tall, not as tall as the 5 guys that just walked in. He's like 5'9 maybe 5'10 but still.
     "Hi." I quietly say. He smiles and sits next to me. "I'm Jaxon." He says and holds his hand out for me. "I'm Luna." I say in the same quiet voice. And I give him my hand assuming he'll shake it. Instead he kisses the back of my hand.
     "Well Luna, it's a pleasure meeting you." He says and winks at me. Did he actually just wink at me or did I imagine that. All he knows about me is my name. Nora is glaring at him and I look at her confused.
     She looks away as though she wasn't just glaring at him. "Anyways it's very nice to meet you." "You too." I say and he smiles. "So new girl I guess I could give you a tour around the place." Jaxon offers.
     "I would love that and maybe you could answer some of my questions about this place." He looks at me confused. "Like the fence, why is there a fence when we're surrounded by trees. And about 30 teenagers living in a house."
     Jaxon laughs "well this is where our dorms are, of course we'd all stay here." I look at him even more confused. "Dorms? So you mean you don't live in separate houses with your family like normal people?" I ask.
     And Jaxon laughs again. "Sweetheart you do know this is a private school right? And all those buildings outside. Those are rooms for our classes such as art, fl...." He stops talking and looks behind me. I glance behind me and Nora quickly looks away. 
     "Flower class, gym, etc. you know like our classes we choose. Our main classes are in the huge building right across from us." Jaxon explains. This is a private school. That's weird mom and dad didn't tell me about a private school. And why'd Jaxon stop talking he said fl... and then stopped talking and said flower class.
           I look at Jaxon confused and he just smiles. "So newbie, what classes are you taking? I shrug "I have no idea I still have to go to the principal and figure it out." He chuckles "you don't go to the principal to choose classes, they choose them for you to make sure it's perfect."
     I look at him confused but roll my eyes and look out the window. The principal doesn't even know me so how do they know what classes I want to take.
     I turn to Nora. "Can I go back to our room? I'm done eating and want to finish unpacking." She nods and says bye. I stand up and walk out of the dining room.
     Of course once I turn the corner I bump into someone. And I end up almost falling. I quickly catch myself. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to..." I look up and that guy with the scar above his eyebrow is glaring down at me.
     "Watch were the fuck you're going." The guy angrily says. I look at him. "I'm sorry but I didn't see you and I'm just trying to get back to my room I don't want any trouble."
     "Oh you don't want trouble, you should've thought of that before you ran into me." He practically screams. Who does he think he is? He may be hot and like some super popular guy but that doesn't mean he can yell at me.
     "Get on your knees." The guy says. "What?" I ask hoping he repeats it so I make sure I heard him correctly.
     He glares at me. His dark brown eyes look directly at me as he scans my face for something. Horror, fear, nervousness, anything like that. But I guess he can't find what he was looking for because he gives me the worst death glare ever.
     "I said get on your knees." He demands. My knees. Who does he think he is? A king. Please I'll never kneel for anyone, especially him.
     He narrows his eyebrows. "Ohhh we're disobeying I see." Disobeying? Of course I am. I don't even know this guy and he's telling me to kneel in front of him all because I bumped into him.
     Instead of saying what I want or saying anything I thought about I say the dumbest thing ever. "If you want me to kneel you'll have to make me."
     The guy looks me up and down then smirks. Which is by far the hottest and most attractive smirk I've ever seen.
     He grabs me and pushes me against the wall pinning me to the wall. "I don't know who you think you are. But everyone listens to me and obeys me. And if you keep disobeying me I will punish you." The guy angrily says.
     I gulp and look at him with horror in my eyes. Which makes him smile. "You look so cute when you're terrified." I look at the ground trying to avoid eye contact.
     "Just remember to stay out of my way and never disobey me." He warns as he starts walking down the hallway. "Ohh and by the way this school is nothing like what you think it is so be careful." I roll my eyes and walk back to my room. Muttering whatever asshole as I walk.
     Well that completely ruined my night. My first day here and already some guy who thinks he owns the school is trying to boss me around. Well guess what he won't be able to boss me around.
     I sit on my bed waiting for Nora to get back from dinner. As though this place isn't weird enough with the fence and the woods and the fact that a private school is in the middle of nowhere. There's also those 5 guys who according to the guy with the scar above his eyebrow. They're like the rulers of the school.
     I fall back on the bed. I just want to go home. It's not even been a whole day. I already don't like the place and I might have made an enemy.
     That's great, just what I need. A weird private school and an enemy for a whole year. Ughh I hate this school already. As I finish that thought, finally the door opens and Nora and Ella walk in. "Hey Luna how are you?" Nora asks as she closes the door. Ella says hi luna how you like the place so far? She said she is liking it so far and how she already has some new friends and she can't wait to start school here. I tell her it's ok so far but that i'm missing mom and dad and home already. I then look at Nora and ask her "Who's the guy with the eyebrow scar?" I ask and she looks at me confused.
     "What?" She asks and I sigh. "The guy with the eyebrow scar. He has black hair and really dark brown eyes that look kinda black." Her eyes go wide.
     "Oh ummm." She nervously laughs. "Do you mean Zayden? Wears all black super scary guy." She says and I nod. "Yeah I guess he's scary." I say.
     "Why are you asking about him?" She asks and I can tell she's nervous but I'm not sure why. I tell her the whole story of how I accidentally bumped into him and he kept telling me to kneel and when I refused he pinned me against the wall.
     By the time I finish the story her eyes are wide and she's staring at me practically frozen in fear. Almost like a deer when they see headlights.
     I don't know why she's so scared. "Nora." "Nora, what's wrong?" I ask but she doesn't answer. She just continues staring at me. I look at Ella and she looks just as confused as I am with Nora's behavior.
     "Nora!" I scream and she jumps. "I'm sorry what?" She asks and I sigh. "The Zayden thing, why did you look so horrified when I told you what happened." I ask.
     "He's famous. Like really famous and he's used to getting everything handed to him on a silver platter. And when he doesn't get his way or if someone gets on his bad side things get real bad real quick." Nora explains. "So does this mean I'm on his bad side?" I ask and she nods. Ella goes, my friends told me he is an asshole and to stay clear of him.
     Well that's great, some famous important guy thinks everyone's afraid of doesn't like me and I'm on his bad side. Well guess what I'm not going to let it bother me.
     If he wants to hate me then he can hate me. If he wants to be enemies then fine we're enemies. But I will not let him walk all over me like the guy at my old school did. Ella says don't worry Luna just stay away from him and he won't bother you unlike at the old school.
Ella stays a bit longer talking then she heads back to her room.
