I wake up feeling warm. My head feels better then it did last night. I can barely open my eyes but I'm laying on something warm and smooth. I open my eyes and see that I'm laying on someones chest. Cam's chest. He's drawing on my back slowly and it almost lulls me back to sleep.

"Good morning Angel." He says. I frown.

"Angel?" I ask, confused. He just smirks in response

"After last nights costume. It's fitting." I blush and try to weasel my way out of his arms. He smells good. Like chocolate and lavender. His green eyes are blazing. I make my way out of bed and stand up. What the hell was he doing in my room and in my bed? I'm also in a fresh clothes.

"Who put me in these?" I ask Cam. Was it him? It better not have been.

"Unfortunately, Not me," I sighed with relief as he carried on. "Claire is down stairs with Nick." I nod to myself.

"You had a nightmare," he says before I could ask what he was doing in my bed. "You wouldn't go back to sleep unless someone was with you. My cheeks burn hot. I walk over to my mirror and wince at my reflection. I have a black eye. Not sexy. I hear a knock at my door and Nick walks in. He looks me up and down. He sighs and gives me a hug. I hug him back and tears start to come up. I didn't even know I needed to cry.

"Shhhhh" He whispers in my ear. It gives me shivers. "You'll be okay, Em." I tighten my arms around him. He stiffens but then relaxes.

"Hey." He says as he wipes my tears away. "Stop crying or you'll look like a psycho murderer " I give him a look and punch him in the shoulder. He just simply laughs at my attempt. I hear a faint cough from behind me. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in. Nick looks at Cam, then back at me and frowns.

"I had a nightmare." I repeat what Cam told me. Nick simply nods.  "Does anyone know if Jennifer's okay?" I ask.

"Yeah, She's all right physically but i'm sure there's going to be some emotional scarring." Says Nick. Poor Jen. She didn't deserve any of that. Nick hugs me again before going back down stairs. I sit next to Cam on the bed, feeling comfortable in the silence. We sit like that for awhile, enjoying each others company. I'm really glad he was there last night.

"Thank you. What you did last night..." Cam stopped me.

"Anyone would have done it." Tears start to well up in my eyes and he wipes them away with his thumb. I hear a car door close outside. My parents must be home. Cam and I walk downstairs to greet them. Cam tenses when he sees my parents. The first thing my Mom sees is my face. She runs over to me, grabbing my face looking at the bruise closer. I wince as she moves my face around looking for more bruises.

"What happened?" he asks, worried. I sigh as my Dad walks over.

"The party last night got out of hand." Jon walked over to Dad and grabbed their bags. "Jennifer almost got raped. Emma tried to push the guy off her but he slammed her head onto the floor." I've never seen my dad look so angry. Cam takes a step back, looking stunned. I shake my head and focus on my parents.

"Did you call the police. Are they informed?" Dad asks. Jon nods. "Well I'm glad you kids are okay." Dad grabs Jonathan and I giving us a bear hug.

"Both of you and your mother are my everything. I wouldn't know what to do without you." I smile weakly up at my dad. I turn to introduce Cam to my parents but I see that he's gone. That's cool, I didn't want a good bye anyway I tell myself.

Cam's POV

They look different. Luce and Daniel. I've never seen them like that. Adults. Luce never made it past 17 and Daniel never aged. Best perk of being immortal. I'm not usually the type of guy that gets panic attacks but damn if that didn't throw me. It's making me second guess this entire plan.
