I've been at Mikes for around six hour and I knew I should head home. I picked up my things and Mike walked me outside. Steve was there waiting for me to get in the car.

"Bye Mike,  see you tomorrow." i give a nice wave and get into the car. It was awkward silence for awhile until i finally said something.

"You can't be mad forever you know, besides it isn't a big deal. You're making this into something it shouldn't be." I groan and stare at him.

"It wouldn't of been a big deal if you didn't just tell me from the beginning that you and Mike were dating. You kept a secret from me and you know I hate when you keep secrets." Steve yanks the steering wheel as he pulls into our driveway.

"I mean I keep a lot of stuff from you. You don't have to know everything about me, you're not my friend you're my brother. Stop acting like we're best friends." i storm into the house and run straight into my bedroom. Mom wasn't home yet which is normal so I had no one to talk to.

" Y/N come down here now. We're not done this conversation." Steve yells. Steve never yells at me so when he does I know he's either upset or annoyed.

"I don't want to talk about it okay, Mike and I are dating and that's that." i open the fridge and grab strawberries and put them into a bowl.

"You're going to sit down at the table and we're going to talk. I don't care if you like it or not. Understand?" Steve pulls a chair from the table and points to it showing that I have to sit there. I hate when he does this, it's so annoying.

"I don't understand any of this. I kept one secret because I knew this would happen." I say.

"Well this isn't a tiny secret. You have a boyfriend and I don't know what you're doing with him. The last thing I need is to be an uncle." I stare at him in shock.

" What the hell Steve. It's none of your business what me and Mike do. Besides even if we did do that you do it all the time. Like remember that one girl that was here last week? Oh yeah what noises were coming from your room. I don't want to be an aunt." i reply back.

" It's different for me, okay? I'm basically an adult so don't even start, you in the other hand are still a teenager." Steve rolls his eyes in disbelief.

"Okay then. What did you do with Nancy during Sophomore year? I think you kept secrets but did i care? No." I fight back.

"Y/N its different. You're my little sister. I have to look after you more than you have to look over me. I worry so much about you and I just want you to be save okay." I never heard Steve say anything like that to me.

"Since when was this a touching talk. Weren't we just fighting?" I question.

"I don't know but i want you to know I'm not being like this on purpose. I just don't want you keeping these sort of secrets from me. I know it's not my job to know everything about you. I'm just trying to do my job as an older brother." Steve gives me a big hug and I go into my room. I grab my walkie-talkie and call Mike.

"Mike. It's Y/N over."

"Hi Y/N, how is everything?"

"Everything's great! I talked with Steve. We're good!"

"That's great. I haven't talked to Nancy yet. I don't think she'll care about us dating. She'll want to know about El though."

"Well that's fine. All we have to worry about is school tomorrow. But now I have to take a shower. Talk to you later, love you!"

"love you too"

I turn off my walkie and feel a bit of relief. School won't be to bad tomorrow, right?
