"You're funny, ..."

"Isabella. Isabella Maria DeMani."

The captain returned, munching on a chocolate pastry, with another pirate behind him carrying a crate of red winep. He spotted us and muttered something to the pirate and walked in our direction.

"Speak of the devil and the devil appears," I muttered. Mingi smiled and shook his head.

"Hmm, darling, on your best behaviour, I see. She hasn't asked you to untie her?" the captain asked.

"I was shocked she wasn't taking advantage of your absence and asking me to untie her. Then she asked...-" I cut him off, repeating my exact (two) words.

"Would you?"

"No."

"Exactly."

"She's very rational," the captain commented, seemingly impressed.

"I know." The captain laughed and a pirate came up to us with a small box of three pastries, exactly like the one the captain ate.

"Ah, thank you." He took one and offered another to Mingi.

"Thank you, captain," he said, taking a bite and his eyes widening to the size of saucers.

"This is amazing!" Mingi exclaimed, his eyes sparkling as if he were in love. The captain then knelt down to my level (I'm on the next level, yeah, sorry, please proceed) and broke a piece of the pastry he was holding then lifted it up to my mouth.

"Open up." I opened my mouth and he placed the piece of pastry on my tongue. I chewed it and I was shocked, amazed and delighted by the light, fluffy, strong, chocolate taste that graced my mouth. "How is it?" the captain asked.

"Great!" I said, my voice a bit muffled by the pastry I was chewing.

"Glad you like it."

He kept breaking off pieces of the mouthwatering pastry and feeding them to me, until there was only one piece left. He held in front of my mouth and said, "Hold it between your teeth."

I still felt hazy because of the sugar, so I complied.

"Good girl. Now let me have a taste." The captain placed his lips on mine, and I felt him take the pastry from my mouth. My face burned and he moved away, maintaining eye contact with me.

"Delicious." He licked his lips and smirked, then just walked away. I glanced over at Mingi, who had a knowing smirk on his face.

"Shut up," I muttered.

He snickered. "I didn't say anything."

"Mingi! Come give me a hand!" someone yelled. Mingi gave me an apologetic smile, waved and walked away, leaving me alone. I took the time to inspect the ship.

It was surprisingly clean, and there was a fresh woody scent coming from everywhere. No fish, nothing revolting. Quite refreshing. Suddenly, someone walked into my line of vision.

He wore a blue coat with golden lining, looking quite regal. He held a mirror up, inspecting himself.

"Mingi!" he called. "What do you think of my new coat?"

Mingi glanced up from a short distance away, giving him a thumbs up, then going back to
