Volume 2 Chapter 12: A day in the Sun

(Play Opening)

The opening ends as Hercule and Zeke are standing in front of Jackson and Reina who were sitting on their beds.

Jackson: Soooo.... you guys are two out of Thirteen powerful individuals who had Elemental powers, and sometime, somewhere, disasters will be coming to Remnant?

Zeke: That pretty much sums it up.

Hercule: We're sorry we hid this from you two, but Ozpin said not to tell you anything right away.

Reina: So how did you manage to have him agree to it?

Zeke: Well, he somehow already knew that we told someone, so he just said to only tell those who are trustworthy. We already told Team RWBY.

Hercule: And I took the liberty of telling Pyrrha and Team JNPR. I figured she had every right to know.

Zeke: So pretty much, you two are the last one's to hear this.

Jackson: Glad to know you deem us trustworthy, so what now?

Reina: Well, there is a break coming up for the preparations for the Vytal Festival, but there's not much to do before that.

The four stand in the dorm in silence until a knock is heard at the door, Hercule walks over to open it to find Yang but not in her usual outfit. Instead of her normal attire Yang was wearing a white t-shirt with short Jean shorts and some sandals. Not only Hercule but everyone in Team HSRM was confused by the blonde brawler's outfit.

Yang: Hey guys, was I interrupting something?

Hercule: N-no, not at all. Just filling Jackson and Reina about the little secret we told you about.

Reina: So where are you off to?

Yang: Well they gave us the day off because of the Mountain Glenn incident, so the girls and I figured we'd go down to the beach in vale for some fun before the weather changes.

Zeke: Sounds like fun.

Yang looked over to Hercule as a small blush appeared as she stroked her hair.

Yang: We already asked Team JNPR if they wanted to go, and I thought that if you guys weren't busy, would you like to go with all of us?

Jackson: A chance to get out of school and have some fun? Count me in!

Reina: Sounds nice.

Zeke: I don't have anything better to do.

Hercule: I think the answers yes to that one.

Yang smiled as her offer was accepted.

Yang: Awesome! We'll meet you guys at the bullhead!

She runs off as Hercule closes the door, turning back over to his friends as they each have a grin plastered to their faces.

Hercule: What?

Reina: You guys want to tell him or should I?

Zeke: No worries, I'll tell him. So when are you going to tell Yang you like her?

Hercule's face quickly went red as he starts stammering out of embarrassment.

Hercule: W-what are you talking about?!

Jackson gets up and walks over to Hercule wrapping his arm around his shoulder.

Jackson: Dude, it's obvious that you like her. And I'm pretty sure she likes you too.

Reina: Well yeah, especially after the dance you two shared. Thankfully Zeke filled us in about your little crush.

Hercule turns his head towards Zeke who was silently whistling while looking off to the side.
