You stared at him lovingly as he walked around the college carefree. "You can atleast let him know about your love for him you know" Aarthi who was a common friend for you and Kutty sat beside you "His love for Geeta will never let his heart listen to me " You turned to look at her "Don't you realise that I am the same Aarthi if someone is gonna let me know that they love me do you think I'll love them back my love for him will never let me do that" You turned again to look at Kutty "(Y/n) you and Kutty are on the same page for me" Aarthi placed her hand on your shoulder "Atleast let me talk to him about this" "Aarthi please let him be I don't want to disturb him" You got up picking up your bag as you walked away. Aarthi sighed as she saw two lovely hearts who were supposed to give love to each other are far away from each other .
It was lunch. You walked towards the canteen to have your food. You sat at a table.You saw Kutty talking to Geeta again. Obviously that girl didn't even look at him and ignored him. She doesn't get the love he has for her. Only if he loved you like that. A tear drop rolled down your cheek realising he will never love you like her. You just realised you were staring at Kutty for too long. He noticed you and walked upto you. "Hey (Y/n) how are you?" "I am good... " You looked down at your hands averting his gaze on you "Are you okay?" He looked at your face "I-I am perfectly alright" "Did you eat something?" "Not yet" "Can I get you something?" "No Kutty I am fine" By this time you were getting uncomfortable not because of him but your love for him made it hard for you to sit and talk with him "(Y/n) are you sure you are okay? You don't look alright to me" "Why do you care?" You mumbled under your breath "What?" "Nothing Kutty do you want something though cause you never initiate a talk with me" "I mean... Aarthi told me that you have feelings for me is that true?" "I am sorry I have to go" You got up as you walked out of the canteen. Kutty followed you "(Y/n) stop" "Kutty please if you're about to say something that I don't wanna hear please don't say it" You started crying as you walked away from him.
You didn't go to your college for two whole days. It's not because of the incident that happened that day with Kutty but your body was burning up with fever. You told Aarthi that you had fever so that she doesn't have to break her head and worry for nothing. It was night and you were in your hostel room. Your roomate was staying at her other friend's house for the night. So you were all alone. You had a really bad headache . You opened the window to let the cool breeze in. You looked out as you saw Kutty standing there . He waved at you. You ran down the stairs as you walked outside the hostel "What are you doing here?" You asked him "(Y/n) I heard you had fever I came to check up on you" "Kutty" You started to sob "Don't you see? Please don't do this I am trying my best to ignore my feelings for you but whenever you give me even a little bit of affection and care I'll obviously fall for you and I know I can never come back from that. So please leave me alone I know how to take care of myself " You wiped the tears away from your eyes. Your headache got a lot stronger and it started to hurt badly. You were messed up by now which made you faint. Kutty held you in his arms before you could hit the ground .
"(Y/n)" You opened your eyes as you took in your surroundings. You were in the infirmary in your college. You turned to the voice "Kutty?" Kutty hugged you tight. You sat there frozen "I'm sorry if I hurt your small heart which held so much love for me all this time" He pulled away "I wanna tell you something but let's go somewhere else where your mind will be calm and peaceful" He got up . You got up from the bed as you stumbled a little. Kutty wrapped his arm around your shoulder "Come" He took you to a park. The night breeze cleared your mind a little . Kutty made you turn towards him. He held your hand "All this time..... I gave a girl a lot of love but I never had the idea of receiving it back. She was never in love with me. I was only a disturbance for her but still I gave her all my love. On the other hand I saw you when Aarthi told me about you all I could see was myself. You didn't care about receiving my love back but still you gave me all the love you had in your heart. It's high time we both stopped thinking that receiving love isn't important. I love you (Y/n) I was behind the wrong girl all this time. You are the one for me I am sorry if this is all so sudden but I realised my mistake I am sorry" You wrapped your arms around his torso "I love you so much Kutty and I care for you a lot. I am sorry for ignoring you like that cause every time I was near you I had this small hope that you'll see my love and I didn't want that cause I am afraid of rejection" "Let's put the past behind us I love you and that's all it matters right now" You nodded as you hugged him tight. He kissed you on the forehead and laid his head on yours .
