🍒•Chapter Three•🍒

He uttered the words so casually, as if the phrase "date me" held no weight or significance. Y/N continued to glare at him, her eyes filled with a mixture of disbelief and frustration.

Who had he become?

True, he had ascended to the position of chief executive officer within her agency, and he was now recognized as one of the world's top billionaires. But was he still the Park Jimin she once knew?

The memories of their shared history flooded Y/N's mind — the laughter, the tears, the moments of vulnerability they had experienced together. It seemed like a lifetime ago. Now, standing before her was a man who appeared to have been consumed by his own success, detached from the person he used to be.

She couldn't help but wonder if this newfound power and wealth had changed him for the worse. Was he now just another ambitious figure, willing to manipulate others for personal gain?

Y/N's gaze bore into him, searching for any glimpse of the Park Jimin she had once known. She yearned for a spark of familiarity, a sign that he still possessed the qualities that had drawn her to him in the first place — kindness, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

As silence hung in the air, Y/N awaited his response, hoping against hope that he would prove her doubts wrong and show her that he was still the person she had once believed in.

The 17-year-old girl nonchalantly strolled down the street, casually chewing her bubble gum, seemingly unfazed by the world around her. Her carefree demeanor abruptly came to a halt when her attention was drawn to a group of young teenage boys huddled around a particular individual. Raising an eyebrow, she veered in their direction, curiosity getting the better of her.

"What do you think you're doing, losers?" she challenged, her voice laced with a mix of authority and disdain.

The boys quivered at the sound of her voice, their confidence instantly evaporating. "Oh no, it's Y/N," one of them exclaimed, panic evident in his tone. Without a moment's hesitation, they scattered, fleeing in different directions as if their lives depended on it.

Left standing alone was the boy who had been the target of their attention. He timidly lifted his head, his face still marked with distress. His eyes met the girl's, and he couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope amidst the chaos.

"Hey, dude, are you okay?" she asked, her voice surprisingly gentle as she approached him.

He hesitated for a moment, surprised by her unexpected kindness. "T-thank you," he stammered, his voice trembling with gratitude.
