"I can't wait to see everything that's yet to be"
There are five days left before the wedding.
Five days left before they can start their new life together, finally.
Haziran is so happy, so impatient that sometimes she wishes they could just elope and do it all on their own.
She's happy, the happiest she's ever been in her whole life, probably.
Yet-
"Honey please get out of there, we can fix it. Please unlock the door."
There are five days left. She can do it. She can handle the stress a bit longer. It's just a small bump in the road, things can't always be perfect right?
"Haziran, it's not that big of a deal, just.. let us work on it. Please come out"
She's sitting on the tiled floor of her bathroom, her back pressed to the wooden door and her arms are tightly hugging her knees. She's wearing her wedding gown, the one she chose a month ago in Izmir right after they celebrated their official engagement with their families.
Her mother knocks at the door once again, in the hopes that she will finally unlock it, but Haziran has no intention of getting out of there.
She's happy. But right now she's mostly exhausted. And mad, so mad she just can't stop the tears from falling to her rosy cheeks.
"Leave me alone, I don't want to fix anything, I'm tired!" She cries out, her ocean blue eyes now puffy and slightly red.
She knew something bad would happen, she just knew it.
She was so damn happy when she chose her dress. It was love at first sight and the second she tried it on she just knew it was the one. The sample she tried was too big for her, so they had to take measurements and make a few changes so it would fit her perfectly. She knows they had little to no time to work on her gown, she knows it's probably more of her fault than theirs. But the second the dress was shipped to her in the Island and she wore it, she knew something was off.
There's five damn days left and her dress doesn't fit. She doesn't have the strength to think what on earth went wrong, but she can't for the life of her close the zipper on her back.
This is probably a sign, she thinks. Maybe this life just doesn't want her and Poyraz to get married or even get a fairytale ending.
She would laugh at her own thoughts if she wasn't so angry, but the truth is that she's just completely exhausted of things going down the wrong road in her life lately.
"Honey, tell us what we can do for you, please? Is there anything you want?" Aliye's voice echoes outside the door. Haziran wipes away her cheeks with the palms of her hands and after a few seconds of complete silent she whispers out her only wish.
"I want Poyraz." It's all she says.
"Okay Haziran." She hears Aliye breathe out on the other side, then step away from the door. "Melisa, call Poyraz. Tell him to come to the hotel. And if he's busy tell him it's urgent"
The room on the other side of the door is suddenly silent, the only sound Haziran can hear is Melisa's voice speaking on the phone, but she can't make up a single word of her conversation since she's outside.
She focuses her attention on the fabric of the dress she's tightly holding between her fists, the softness of the organza caressing the tip of her fingers.
