Chapter 24 -We Found Love-

-Years back before (y/n) mysteriously disappeared from the depths of hell with Lucifer-

-(y/n) POV-

I know he took interest in me, but why just so suddenly? Am I really just that intriguing or is he wanting to used me for some sort of experiment?

I don't know why I'm giving it all that much though really, I mean this never really bothered me before. Until now at least.

He's also quiet intriguing if I do say so myself

I mean he is the demon god of course, and I still have been really wondering why he only hangs out around me, it seems like throughout his life span he never ever had another friend besides me. It's so sad if you really think about it that much. Poor guy

-Present time-

I was walking with Izaya and I kept absolutely quiet

"I know you love him (y/n)"

I looked over to see Izaya holding the black rose that Dark had given me

"You guys may have gone through a dispute, but that doesn't mean he still doesn't love you, and you don't love him. I can see it in your eyes that you care for him deeply."

I sighed and sat down right where I was

"I do love him, but he can be very tricky. I don't even get how he loves me. I'm a freak with multiple personality disorder. And I'm always giving him such a hard time. I really just wish that sometimes I can just go back in time and re do everything to make it absolutely perfect."

Izaya came over and at next to me and he grabbed my shoulders

"That just it (y/n), your so caught up in what you did, that you can't think about what you are going to do. It doesn't matter what happened in the past, what matters now is if you make things right."

I nodded and sighed

"do you think he will really forgive me? I have been such a bitch to him"

He smiled a caring smile

"I know he will. If he loves you the way you love him, then I am positive that he will take you back (y/n)"

I smiled back and got up.

"I know where to find him, come on follow me"

-Darks POV-

I'm so stupid

I'm a monster, and she's an angel, how can she ever even put up with me

I'm such a fucking idiot.

I shouldn't have ever said anything like that to her

Just proves that I'm the monster even more

I got up out of the crater and went to go visit a friend

I hadn't seen him forever

Let's just say he's more of a friend, were kind of... Related ? I should say

I got to the door and knocked on it 3 times, then it opened

"Dark?"

"Hey Mark."

He opened the door more but looked at me skeptically

"Don't worry I'm not trying to kill you, I gave up years ago and you know that."

He then hesitantly invited me in and I went to the kitchen and opened the fridge

"Why do you always have rum?"

Mark chuckled a bit and leaned on the door frame

"Because I never really know when you are going to come and I buy a bottle every month just in case."

I shrugged and stared to gulp down the bottle then Mark came an sat over next to me

"What happened this time?"

"Girl trouble"

Mark smiled warmly and clapped

"So you got a girlfriend?"

"Not exactly.."

He sighed

"Listen, I know how you feel. I remember a long time ago when you were dealing with "her" and I feel like this is the same situation. Just remember don't let her go. I know there's always that cheesy ass saying that says if you love her let her go. But that doesn't exist, if you were to let her go she might not come back. Seize the moment. Show her that you truly love her with all your heart Dark. Whatever it takes I know you can make it through. You've been through hell. Literally. But this time your finally going to be happy for once Dark."

I smiled warmly and hugged Mark

"Thank you."

The door then slammed open to show (y/n) and Izaya and (y/n) smiled at me

I went over to her an we both said in unison

"I'm sorry"

We both chuckled as (y/n) gave me the black rose and smiled,

"I'll never ever let you go Dark."
