Chapter-10

That morning, Midoryia walks into (Y/N) chambers.

"Good morning (Y/N)." Midoryia says to (Y/N). He looks around and sees that (Y/N) is not there. He runs around the palace frantically to find him. He runs to the ballroom and finds Bakugo at the top of the stairs. He runs up to him.

"Bakugo, have you seen-" Midoryia starts to ask Bakugo. Bakugo looks at him and puts a finger to his lips to shush him. He points to the garden. Midoryia looks and sees (Y/N) standing near the garden bench. Looking at the clock tower and holding the glass slipper.

"How long has he been standing there?" He whispers to Bakugo.

"He's been there all night. He never went to bed. He came back here last night after I found the slipper. I tried to talk to him, but he said he needs to think. He's been thinking all night." Bakugo whispers him. The King and Queen come in.

"Bakugo and Midoryia, have you seen (Y/N)?" The Queen asked. They both point to the garden. They look and see him. They walk down the stairs and outside to the garden. They walk up to (Y/N).

"(Y/N), you haven't slept all night. Are you really serious about this girl?" The Queen asks (Y/N). He turns to her.

"Yes, and I feel that I failed to protect her. She's the one I want, but there's something wrong. She needs our help mother." (Y/N) tells the Queen. The Queen closes are eyes.

"Your right. She is in a bad situation. We she told me that her real parents died, I saw fear in her eyes. She didn't want to introduce us to them, because of the trauma that she's receiving." The Queen tells (Y/N). He looks at her.

"How do you know about her trauma?" (Y/N) asks her. She starts to tear up. The king puts his hands on the Queens shoulders.

"How come your mother never told you about her past?" He asks (Y/N). (Y/N) eyes widen. He now realizes why his parents always made sure he was a gentleman and never took anything for granted. He hugs his mother. She hugs him back. She looks up at him.

"How are you going to find her?" The Queen asks him. (Y/N) holds up the slipper. The King and Queen look at slipper.

"I want to try this on every young maiden. It will only fit on her." (Y/N) explains to them. The Queen looks at (Y/N).

"You know a lot of maidens have the same shoe size. Here I'll show you." She tells him. She grabs the slipper and puts it on. The slipper starts to get big and now the Queens foot looks too small for it. She gasps. She removes her foot from the slipper, the slipper shrinks back to its normal size. She looks at (Y/N).

"I guess that will work, but you have been up all night. How are you going to make sure you pick wrong?" The Queen asks.

"We will make sure of that, and I will send guards into town to make sure that no one leaves." Bakugo said walking up.

"Yes we will keep him and the slipper safe." Midoryia said, also walking up. (Y/N) looks at his friends. He smiles at them.

"Thank you so much guys. You guys are the best." (Y/N) says to them. He turns to face his parents.

"Mother, I need to find this girl. I want to help her. I love her and I want to marry her. Please let me go now to find her." (Y/N) begs his parents.

"Eat something first. You need your strength. And you need to change out of your suit. Then you can start." The King tells him. (Y/N) smiles and nods.  He looks at Midoryia.

"Can you bring me some food to my chambers please?" He asks Midoryia. Midoryia nods and runs out to the kitchens. He turns to Bakugo.

"Can you send the guards to let the town know about what's going on? And I think we need to keep them close. We might need them to make an arrest." He asks Bakugo. Bakugo puts an angry look on his face and nods. He runs off the tell the guards. He looks at his parents.

"Thank you Mother, Father." He says to them. They hug him. He runs off to his chambers.

"Go and bring her home!" The Queen tells after him.

After eating and changing clothes, the three friend head out into the kingdom. They start trying on the slipper on a few maidens first and they all failed. After a long day with the sun setting.

"I want to keep going." (Y/N) tells the other two, sounding sleepy. He is trying to stay awake. They are walking to the next house, but Bakugo thinks that might need to wait.

"Follow me." He says to him. Midoryia and the guards also follow him. (Y/N) is too sleepy to realize that they are taking him back to the palace. When he walks in to his chambers, he gets down on one knee and tries to remove Midoryias shoe. Bakugo picks him up and throws him on to the bed. (Y/N) lands on his bed and falls asleep instantly.  Midoryia got him undressed and put his night clothes on. When finished, they walk out of the room and close the door. Bakugo turns to the guard on duty.

"If he wakes, come and get me." Bakugo tells the guard. The guard salutes Bakugo and standing in front of the door.  Bakugo and Midoryia walk to the King and Queens chambers. 

"We have returned for the night. The sleepless night finally caught up with him. He was so tired, that he tried to take off Midoryias shoe." Bakugo told The King and Queen. The King and Queen tried to hide your smiles and laugher. Midoryia turned red from embarrassment. Bakugo kept a straight face. "We will continue tomorrow, for now he needs rest."
