Chapter-12

The guards surround the cottage. (Y/N), Bakugo and Midoryia walk up to the door. Midoryia knocked on the door. The stepmother opens the door and receives a shock.

"Your highness, I thought you were going to be here tomorrow." She says to him. (Y/N) looks at her and the memory of her yelling at him pops into his head.

"I am sorry for the intrusion, the prince wants to know if your daughters want to try on the slipper?" Midoryia asks her. She looks very nervous.

"Um well, I-I" she start to stammer. Bakugo and (Y/N) look at her suspiciously. Stepmother finally snaps out of it. "I'm sorry, my daughters are busy right now, but I'm sure they would be happy to try on the slipper when they are done." She says to them

"What about your Cinderella?" He asks her. She looks at him.

"We don't have a Cinderella." She lies to him.  Bakugo walks up to the door.

"That is a lie. We were her about a month ago when we stop her for some water. A Cinderella gave us and our horses some water." Bakugo says to her sounding serious. The color drained from her face when she was caught. She quickly thinks of something.

"She did live here, however she left. We don't have a Cinderella anymore." She continued to lie. Bakugo doesn't believe her, but can't prove anything.

"Are you going to let us inside then?" Bakugo asks her. She smiles, but she is thinking fast.

"Yes, of course. Just give me a second." Stepmother tells everyone. She shuts the door and runs to the kitchen. She sees the stepsisters still eating, but Uraraka is not in the kitchen. "Where is Cinderella?" She ask frantically. They look at her.

"She went up to her room to put somethings away." Toga tells her. Stepmother starts to run up the stairs. When she gets to the landing, Uraraka walks out of the attic.

"You, get in your room now." She whispers to her. Uraraka looks in shock at her, but doesn't argue. She backs into her room.

"What's going on?" She asks. The stepmother walks up the door.

"Keep quiet, or the prince will know you are here." She says closing the door. Uraraka runs to the door to pull it open. The door is locked. She locked her inside. Uraraka starts to bang on the door. Yelling and crying to open the door.

"Let me out, you cant leave me in here. You evil woman, let me out." She yells at the door. She slides to the floor, still trying to get the door open.

The stepmother runs back downstairs and runs to the kitchen.

"The prince is here.  Go into the living room now." She tells them. They both look at her. 

"Did you tell Uraraka? Ribbit." Tsuyu asked her. Stepmother walks over to her and smacks her. Toga stood up and was about to hit stepmother, when stepmother grab Tsuyu.

"You two listen to me. I've worked too hard to have you two and that little piece of trash upstairs ruin everything. You are going to try on the slipper and become his bride or Tsuyu will be the new Cinderella. I have killed once, what makes you think I won't kill again?" She threatens Toga. Tsuyu is crying now. Toga and Tsuyu go to the living room looking scared. Stepmother brings a tissue and gives it to Tsuyu to wipe her tears. Tsuyu does and stepmother lets (Y/N), Midoryia and Bakugo in.  The girls bow to them. Bakugo looks around the downstairs.

"Where do you think your going?" The stepmother yells at Bakugo. Bakugo looks at her dead in the eye when he turns to face her.

"You did take a while to let us in. I'm just making sure it's safe." Bakugo tells her loudly. (Y/N) looks at the stepsisters and noticed they aren't smiling. He walks up to them.
