The king and Queen hear the trumpet calls. They stand up and wait just inside the gates to the castle on top of some stairs. They see the crowd get louder and louder as the prince and his friends get closer. (Y/N), Midoriya, and Bakugo get to the steps, they hop off their horses. A squire runs up and grabs the princes horse. The prince runs up to his parents and kneels in front of the King and Queen. He stands up and walks up the stairs with his parents. They all turn and wave to the cheering crowd. The king and queen look at Midoriya and Bakugo who followed the prince up the stairs.
"Thank you, you have the rest of the day off. Your services are not required today." The Queen tells them. They both bow to the three of them and leave. Midoriya and Bakugo both leave for their chambers. The King, Queen, and prince head inside. The crowds cheering dies down and everyone leaves.
Back at Uraraka's house, Uraraka finished her chores and is now playing with her mice in a cage in the kitchen. The stepmother and stepsisters walk inside. The stepmother is a older woman who in her late fifties. She now lives through her two daughters Toga and Tsuyu. Toga is a small blonde girl who is seventeen, but does not like the typical girl stuff. She's more of a fighter girl, but her mother doesn't let her be like that. Her mother tells her what she needs to like and not like. Tsuyu is a 'always want to work' type. She sometimes tries to help Uraraka with the chores. Stepmother tells her she doesn't need to help Uraraka and makes her and Toga be mean to Uraraka. They however, hate it. They hate the fact that Uraraka is treated so poorly. They don't understand why she hates her so much.
"Cinderella, we are home!" The stepmother yells. Uraraka runs out of the kitchen and grabs there things. The stepsisters sit down at the table in the living room. The stepmother sits with them.
"Now my daughters, I need to talk to you." They all come together including Uraraka. "Not you, my own daughters!" She snapped at Uraraka. Uraraka nods and goes back to the kitchen.
"Now that the she is gone. I want to tell you that you two should be thrilled that the prince is back. If you hadn't notice, the prince didn't have a girl with him. That means he is available. If we are lucky, one of you can be his bride. And you will be the princess of the kingdom." She tells her daughters. The girls pretend to act like they are interested. The stepmother smiles. "Now Tsuyu, you need to stop having these episodes of croaking like a frog." She tells Tsuyu.
"You know I can't control it. I've tried. Ribbit." She tells her mother. Stepmother isn't having it.
"Yes you can, it's not difficult. Just try and ignore it." She tells Tsuyu. Tsuyu was just about to tell her it impossible, but stepmother turns to Toga.
"You Toga need to act more lady like. He isn't interested in a woman fighter. He wants a woman who will do as they are told. You need to accept that and fast." She tells Toga. Toga looks at her mother with a fake smile.
"Sure mom, I will do my best." Toga tells her mom. The stepmother stands up and walks into the kitchen. Where she sees Uraraka sitting in her little corner near the fireplace.
"Have you finished all the chores?" She asks her snidely. Uraraka looks up and stands up.
"Yes ma'am, I've washed the windows, cleaned out the fireplace, scrubbed the floors, polish all the silver, and finished all the washing and ironing." She tells stepmother. Stepmother nods her head.
"Well you have been busy all morning. Did anyone come to the house while we were out?" She asks. Uraraka thinks for a moment. She was about to lie, but she couldn't bring herself to do it.
"Yes, three young men came to the door only asking for water." She tells her stepmother. Stepmother looks at her.
"And you gave it to them?" She ask angrily. Uraraka closes her eyes and nods.
"I told you to never open that door while we are away. What if they stole all of our things?" She angrily shouts at her. She grabs a broom getting ready to hit her. Uraraka is ready to get hit, but it doesn't come. She opens her eyes to see the stepmother holding the broom in both hands, but she looks like she's thinking.
"I have a better idea. You can come with us when we go shopping next. You will hold all the bags when we are shopping. And I expect you to get all of the chores done that day. Bring up some tea for the girls. Now!!!" She yells at Uraraka. She throws down the broom and walks away up the stairs. Uraraka can't believe what she just heard. She gets to go into town. She was never allowed off the property. She feels this is a treat and she didn't get punished. She runs and makes her daughters favorite tea. She brings them upstairs and knocks on Tsuyus door.
"Come in." Tsuyu says. Uraraka opens the door and brings the tea in. Uraraka noticed that Tsuyu isn't the only one inside. Toda is also there. They both pat the floor next to them. Uraraka sets the tea down on the floor and she sits. The girls tell Uraraka about what happened in town.
"Mom thinks I was watch the prince, but saw the knight instead. If mom found out that I liked the knight more than the prince, she would never let me out again." Toga tells the girls. The other two girl nod.
"I was interested in the princes servant. He was so cute, I wish mom would let us date who we want, but no. Ribbit. We have to live the way she wants." Tsuyu tells the girls. Uraraka and Toda nod. They hear movement outside the room. Uraraka quickly gets up with tea pot and glasses. She exits Tsuyus room. Stepmother sees her come out.
"Set the table and get supper started." She ordered Uraraka.
"At once ma'am." Uraraka tells her. She runs down the stairs and sets the table for three people. Then she starts cooking their dinner.
