I walked into my fathers office after my interview I smiled knocking on the door "Dad, it's me" I smiled as the door opened he was standing there as Dmitri was sitting there with a rag to his face as it was covered in blood I ran up to him "What the hell happened?" I asked as I moved the rag he winced a bit
"Well, umm it was funny in the moment but after I saw blood it wasn't funny he's fine it's just a small cut" my father smiled as Dmitri shook his head "well what happened?" I asked as Dmitri chuckled a bit "A lady hit me with her purse" he mumbled I went to open my mouth but I shut it quickly I bit my lips looking down trying to hold back a small laugh "See even she thinks it's funny" he threw the rag down and stood up
I looked at my father as we busted out laughing "Im sorry Dmitri but it is kinda funny but come here" I walked over to my fathers desk he sat back down as I walked over sitting on the desk I opened the band aid as I told him to come closer he moved his chair closer as I leaned in cleaning off the blood then sticking the band aid on I moved away looking down at him "There all better, maybe when the others ask just say you got into a fight instead of hit with a purse" I giggled as he smiled a little
"Is that a invite to your game nights?" He asked I shrugged "Only if you show up tonight we're celebrating I got the job" I smiled as my father walked up excitedly "YOU GOT THE JOB!! Congratulations!!" He pulled me into a hug as I hugged him back I heated Dmitri sigh he stood up "Congratulations Alex" he hugged me after my father let me go "We are definitely celebrating tonight I have to go come on Dmitri let's go get stuff for this party bye honey see you at home" he rushed out pushing Dmitri out the room with him I sighed
"I don't even know if he's coming or not" I sighed grabbing my bag walking out his office shutting the door behind me
—hours later—
"STEVE PUT EDDIE DOWN NOW!" I yelled walking into the living room as Steve was holding Eddie sideways about to throw him over the couch "He started it!" Steve yelled as I rolled my eyes "You two are children you know that" I shook my head as the doorbell rang I raised a eyebrow I walked over to the door opening it as Dmitri stood there he smiled a little he was holding some roses "Hi" he smiled softly as I stared at him "Uh hi" I smiled dustin walked over to me
"Invite him in now Alex" he said I snapped out of though "Right sorry come on in" I smiled stepping to the side as he stepped in taking his hat off "Hi guys" he waved as they all said there Hey's and HI's I shut the door behind him "Who are the flowers for?" Eddie asked as Dmitri raised a eyebrow "Why is he holding him?" He asked as Steve forgot and dropped Eddie "Owe you dick head" he groaned standing up as I laughed "Oh but these are for you" Dmitri handed me them as I took them
"Why? I mean thank you but why?" I asked as he smiled a little "Just a gift for getting the job" he shrugged I smiled and walked up to him standing on my tip toes kissing his cheek "Thank you, I'm gonna go out these in water" I smiled walking into the kitchen as my father and Joyce were making food "Wow who are those from?" Hopper asked as I smiled setting the on the counter getting a vase "Dmitri" I smiled filling the vase up with water
"Oooohhh he got you flowers" Joyce wiggled her eyebrows at me as I rolled my eyes "What? It's a gift for getting the job" I shrugged putting them in the vase as they both laugh a bit
—game night—
I leaned back in my chair as I stared my opponent down raised my eyebrow the younger teens went in the living room to play there own game as we sat there playing cards "Fold or call Alex" Dmitri smirked sitting there holding his cards I lifted mine up "I hear your call and I raise you one hundred" my father choked on his beer Eddie stopped eating. "Alex" Nancy whispered as I looked over at her "What Nancy?" I asked as she shook her head "Never mind" she whispered as Dmitri chuckled
"Let's make this a little more fun then I take back what I bet and you take back what you bet" he grabbed the chips putting his back and pushing mine towards me "Then what are we doing?" I asked as he leaned back looking at his cards and back up to me "If I win this game, You have to let me take you out to dinner or make you dinner maybe one of my finest Russians dinner" I sat there quiet and shocked I now kinda want to lose "If I win?" I asked as he shrugged "What do you want?" He asked as I leaned back looking at my hand and back up at him
"I get your truck for a week" I smirked as he shrugged pulling out his keys setting them on the table "Fair enough" he chuckled as he looked at his hand again "Why don't you lay your hand out first" he smirked as I did "Flush baby" I smirked as he leaned back smirking wider "Wow I guess your really good at card games" I smirked in confidence as Eddie and Steve groaned I reach across for the keys he grabbed my hand
"But.. not in poker, it's not your type of game Princess" he laid his cards down as Eddie gasped "That's a Royal Flush" I quickly looked down and back up at him "You ass" I mumbled "Friday night sounds good to me? Pick you up at eight?" He asked kissing my hand letting me go I slowly sat back in my chair shocked he stood up grabbing his coat "I will see you guys later, Alex I'll see you tomorrow night" he smiled as he left as my father walked him out I sat there shocked
"You meet your match" Eddie sat there shocked "yeah I guess I did" I stood up walking into the kitchen getting a beer "We got to find you a date outfit let's go" Nancy Robin and max got up grabbing me running out the room "Why do girls do that?" Lucas asked I yelled back "Because girls care about this stuff" as they laughed the whole night we went through ever single pair of clothes I had
Robin ran back in holding her dress "Your gonna love this" she hands me it it was Eddie's black leather jacket black leggings a red skirt and a black top "This will do go put it on" she smiled I walked into my bathroom and got changed I came back out

"Now that's the winner right there" they smirked as I nodded walking out the room down stairs "So what do you guys think?" I asked Eddie dropped his beer staring at me as dustin slapped him upside the head "Stop it" he said as I laughed "Alex you look beautiful" joyce smiled walking up hugging me the front door opened I turned looking at my father as he stopped slowly taking his hat off "What do you think?" I asked as he smiled a little
"You look beautiful sweetheart" he walked up hugging me the rest of the night we watched movies and ate till we didn't feel good again we all fell asleep in the living room same places as last time
