"He... showed me, things that haven't happened yet... horrible things. I saw... a dark cloud spreading over Hawkins. Downtown on fire. Dead soldiers. And this... giant creature with... a gaping mouth," I explained the images still rolling around in the back of my head. "And this creature wasn't alone. There were so many monsters. An army. And they were coming into Hawkins. Into our neighborhoods. Our homes. And... then he showed me my friends..." I began to tear up and stumble over my words. The groups eyes went wide as they looked around amongst themselves. "all of you... were dying..." I wiped my tears as Eddie placed a hand on my back and began to rub small circles. "Okay, but... he's just trying to scare you, (y/n)." Steve shook his head from the other end of my bed. "Right? I mean, it's not real." Eddie added. "Not yet... but there... there was something else." I shivered. "He showed me gates... four gates. Like the ones we went through, just spreading across Hawkins. But they didn't stop growing, and this wasn't the Upside Down Hawkins. This was our Hawkins. Our home." I began to tear up once more and the atmosphere around us became so thick you could slice it with a knife.

"Four chimes." Max muttered from across the room. "Vecna's clock. It always chimes four times." She explained. "Four exactly." She nodded. "I heard them too..." my eyes went wide. "He's been telling us his plan the entire time." Max said quietly as she stared off. "Four kills. Four gates... End of the world." Lucas looked at max for a moment before looking at the ground. "If that's true... he's only one kill away." Dustin shuttered.

"Oh Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ." Eddie placed his head in his hands and threw his head back as he stressed. "Try em' again. Try 'em again." Steve urged. Max made her way over to my phone before taking it off of the wall and dialing the Byers number. She placed it up to her ear and a moment layer she put it back. "Anything?" Dustin asked. "No." She shook her head. "Rang a few times, then went to a busy signal." She folded her arms. "Maybe you punched it in wrong. Try again." Steve suggested.

Max rolled her eyes and made her way back over to the phone. "I didn't punch it in wrong!" She scoffed as she dialed the number again. "Well I don't know." Steve threw his hands up in frustration. "I think she knows how to use a phone." Dustin defended. "I'm just saying, she could've typed it in wrong." Steve shrugged. The room fell silent for a second before Max put the phone back on the wall. "Same shit." She folded her arms.

"How is that possible." Steve rolled his eyes in annoyance. "I'm telling you, Joyce has this new telemarketer job. She's always on the phone. Mike won't stop whining about it." Dustin shook his head. "Yeah, but this phones been busy for, what, three days now? That's not Joyce. No way. Something's wrong." Max shook her head. "She's right." Nancy agreed. "It can't be just a coincidence. It can't be." She thought for a moment before making her way over to the window. "Whatever's happening in Lenora is connected to all of this. I'm sure of it." She stared off into the distance. "But Vecna can't hurt them... Not really if he's dead." She shook her head. "We have to go back in there. Back to the Upside Down." She turned to look at the group.

"Whoa, no, no, no. What?" Steve immediately began to protest. "Nope!" Eddie shook his head repeatedly. "And get eaten alive by bats and shit? I think the fuck not!" I folded my arms. "Let's think this through. Okay?" Steve got up from my bed and made his way over to Nancy. "What is there to think through?" She asked defensively. I placed my hand on Eddie knee as I watched him stress even more. "We barely made it out of there in one piece." Steve raised his voice. "Yeah, because we weren't prepared." Nancy argued. "But this time, we will be. We'll get weapons and protection. We'll go through the gate, we'll find his lair, and we'll kill him!" She explained her plan. "Or he'll kill us! The only reason (Y/n) survived is because he wanted her to. He's not scared of us!" Steve began to yell.

"And for good reason!" Robin cut in as she stood up from where she'd been sitting on the floor. "We were wrong about Vecna. Henry. One. Sorry, what are we calling him now?" She trialed off. "One." Dustin and Lucas said in unison. "Vecna." Lucas's sister Erica cut in. "One!" Lucas rolled his eyes. "Vecna." Eddie and I said in unison as we shook our heads. I smiled slightly. Cute. "Henry." Nancy shook her head. "Right. We've learned something new about Vecna / Henry / One. He's a number like Eleven, only a sick, evil, male, child murdering version of her with really bad skin." Robin began to ramble. "Robin. please." I groaned and leaned back on the couch. "Right. Sorry! But my... my point is, he's super powerful. He could turn us inside out with a snap of his fingers. It's not a fair fight." Robin finally explained bringing up some valid points.
