Gus closed the door . I just snapped . You heard her . Jean ass tryna get more money for us and not even trying to give it us . Some mother huh. Gus said Ne , this some fucked up shit . She let this man come up in here and let him rape you and then on top of that was finna let him rape our baby sister . I had enough Ne, Gus snapped . I'm finna go over there and let her ass have it . I yelled NO ! Fuck her Gus, she's getting exactly what she deserve . Just look at her , sleeping outside , following this man around like sad ass puppy . Life is already kicking her ass . This man don't give two fucks about her . All he wanna do is sleep with her underage daughters . It's sad that we can't even be comfortable here and on top that our younger siblings don't have a mother . Gus just looked at me . Damn Ne, I didn't know that how you felt sis . I said yes for a very long time now Gus. Gus phone started ringing he said  like Shìt Ne hold on . He answered it was JJ. He said yo bro what's up ? I'm standing there tryna listen but Gus  turned the volume down . He told Jj ima hit you back I have something I'm handling right now . He hung the phone up . I said what's that all about Gus , he looked at me and said nothing Ne don't worry about . He said I'm finna go check on them upstairs you coming . I said yeah .

We finally got upstairs . We checked in Kytavain first .  He was up playing his video game as usual. He never comes out his room unless it's time for school or dinner . Kytavain is 12 . He always asking why Jean never wanted us . I know he wonders a lot but he's afraid . The kids at school always calling him names because well y'all know why . We closed his room. Next we checked up in Man Man, he was sound asleep . We check on Ty. She was up watching tv . Yo , she said when she saw us at the doctor .  We need to talk . Me and Gus walked in the room and closed the door . We said what's up Ty. She said y'all I can't sleep . I don't want to live here no more . We gotta love . All I see is that man and Jean . We have to go . I said Ty where are we going to go , grandma left us this house this the only home we know . Gus stepped in exactly Ty , everything is going to be okay . I promise y'all they won't hurt y'all again . Ty said how can you be so sure Gus, you work nights . That's when Jean feel like it's okay to come here .  Then that creep of hers always watching this house waiting for you to leave . Gus said stop Ty get some rest you can't be up all night like this . I promise you there is nothing you have to worry about . Ty said you saying that now Gus, what happens when  you leave and the come here . Jean is going to let him do whatever to us , just so she can get high.  Y'all I'm scared and I never been so scared in my life . Gus said Ty I understand baby girl but nothing to worry about . Everything will be fixed before you know it , now get some rest . We left out . I said Gus , what do you mean everything will be fix . He said look Ne , I said don't worry about it. He walked away and went back downstairs .

I went to my room and just laid across the bed . I couldn't stop thinking about what Gus was talking about . I hope he don't go do anything  stupid . I don't like when he and Jj be talking about crazy shit. Jj is the kind of guy that likes the streets . He think killing is going to solve everything. I hate Gus got himself involved with him . Gus is not that type of guy . He's more laid back and nonchalant. I worry a lot when he tell me not to worry about things because I don't want him to get himself in trouble or tied up in Jj Shìt .
