Chapter 25

TRINITY

I was entangled in this man's arms while lying in bed. It wasn't until now that our sexual intercourse stopped, but I wasn't affected by it. It was nothing out of the ordinary, and I didn't get the sensation of anything special—just pure lust.

"Trinity, why are you making that face? Are you not pleased with what we have done? By the way, I am grateful to you for helping me. I'm going to get out of this hell pretty early tomorrow morning," he said with a smile as he gently brushed his fingers across my cheeks.

Because I have a lot of things to run through my thoughts right now, I just let him do what he does. It seemed like there were a lot of questions, but I couldn't figure out where to find the answers.

"If you still look like that when I see you tomorrow, I'm not going to be happy. Trinity, I am so sorry that I could not help you in any way to get you out of this mess. If I were to bring you along, I would definitely die," he worriedly told me.

Because he could be in danger if he takes me tomorrow, I don't care if he does or doesn't take me either way. My thoughts are seeking to know who will show me the path out of this mess and where he will emerge from. I need to meet that person as soon as possible.

"Miko, stop pestering me, would you? I've done what you're asking for so you can leave and return to your family. You're solely interested in me for sexual purposes, right? We're done. Just leave," I said and tried to push him away.

Even if the entire world were to turn around and tell me all the reasons, it would still appear that he is just using me, and I have no problem with that. Because men like him were so simple to read, he didn't need to put on an act in front of me to make it seem like he was genuinely concerned.

"What are you saying? Trinity, I want you to know that I won't be the only one coming after you. Frankly, I also want to help you get out of the place, but I don't know how. Listen, you can get out too. I believe there is a perfect time for that," Miko insisted.

I simply gave him some deadly stares before wrapping the blanket around my nude body and walking away. I jumped out of bed and hurriedly made my way to the bathroom. He does not need my help to put his clothes back on.

"I've already done what you want to happen, so there's no need to continue to worry me about it. Miko, I can find my way out of the place. Goodbye!" I told him before finally entering the bathroom.

I closed the door and threw the blanket outside. I immediately filled the bucket with water and let it stimulate my brain. The refreshing sensation of the cold water allows me to unwind and enjoy the moment. It's getting too difficult to manage my life, so I just need to let some air out.

"Trinity, you need to focus your mind on fixing your life. You will not always be able to get away from whatever is happening. Fuck! Know right from wrong, Trinity! You don't have much time left, so you'd better get moving if you want to help Hunter," I slapped myself and then accidentally whacked the side of my head with a bucket.

The immense possibility of being pregnant now also bothers my mind. If they tell the truth that there is a baby in my womb, I am entirely at a loss for what to do next. Can I be a good mother? I don't know anything: except being a whore.

"Trinity, I hope everything is alright there. You were yelling, and I couldn't help but feel worried because I could hear you. Would you like me to come inside?" Miko called out, and then he knocked on the door.

Even though he knocked on the door three times, I did not open it for him. I need to be able to think carefully so I can solve problems. I must focus and not let anyone disturb me.
