At the ruby palace, 8:00 (the usual time for when the imperial family wake up)
"Lady, lady, lady wake up!"
"AH!" Jennette said as she sat up "What do you think your doing!?" Jennette yelled
"Lady I am simply just waking you up" the maid said calmly with her eyes closed
"But how dare you scream to the first princess like that!" Jennette said angrily
'ugh' the maid thought "Lady, you have not been announced as a princess by the emperor so I do not have to treat you as one, secondly the first princess position belongs to her highness Athansia, even if you were to be a princess you would be the second princess. Now lady I have made you a bath so please go on along" after saying this she bowed then left
Jennette was enrage by the maids words even tho they were right, she remembers how yesterday night went

"Welcome to the ruby palace" All the maids said with a monotone voice
"I still can't believe this, how could he do this!" Rosalia complains she then hold Jennettes shoulder and says, "Jennette you must go and get the emperor's favour quickly so you can leave this palace, alright?"
"Yes aunty" Jennette says
"Then I will have to leave now, I'll be back soon" Rosalia says as she steps into the carriage
Jennette was then lead by the head maid to her room it wasn't as great as the rooms in the sapphire, emerald, garnet, and a few other palace's but it was amazing as well, after all even though the ruby palace is a palace for concubines it is still a palace.
As the empress was usually the one in charge of the palaces since there was no empress Athansia asked the emperor if she could handle the palaces instead
So she is the one who handles the palace's budget and she also fixed up all the palaces.
Jennette was then given a bath then she was given a night gown, when she saw the closet full with plain clothes she complained but the head maid reminded her that no one has lived here for awhile except the maids and a chef so there wasn't really a need for such clothes

"Felix, let's go to the ruby palace" Athansia said as she put down her tea
