the office

The three girls followed Alaric as they walked to his office nobody saying anything. Hope couldn't stop think about josie for some reason, they were defiantly not friends but even she could admit josie was okay and not nearly as bad as her twin lizzie.

As they finally approached the office all the girls took a seat hope sitting as far away from the twins as possible.

Finally, Alaric spoke "now one of you tell me what happened"

Of course, it was lizzie who spoke "I was just walking back to my room when hope attacked me" she said giving her best daddy voice while giving hope a death stare.

"Is that true hope" Alaric said waiting for the auburn-haired girl to speak

Hope shook her head no

"i need you tell me using words hope" he said calmly 

"uhgg fine" hope said her eyes still not leaving the ground and her hand still tugging at her rings.

"No that's not what happened, I did throw the first hit. I was just walking to get to our practice when lizzie and me bumped into each other and as I tried to walk away, she wouldn't stop bugging me about my soulmate." she said with a huff

Alaric looked her with sadness in his eyes he knew it was hopes birthday today and he was hoping the auburn girl would have gotten a name so she felt like she finally had someone in her life she could trust. He had always tried to make her feel at home here, he treated her as one of his own and cared for her just as such. Even if hope didn't think the same it didn't change how he felt.

Finally looking over to josie whose gaze was fixed on hope. He asked "and what were you doing there josie? Can you tell me what happened?"

Josie finally taking her eyes off the tribrid she looked around the room her sister glaring at her knowing if she didn't side with lizzie, she would never here the end of it, but she couldn't lie not to her dad.

"josie" Alaric said again taking josie out of her thoughts

"Can you please tell me what happened"

She finally took a shaky breath "I heard them yelling and saw hope hit lizzie, and they just started fighting, I tried to break them up that's all" she said not looking at anyone

Hopes eyes shot up staring at the brunette girl of course she would take her sister side that's no surprise she thought getting a little angry again, she looked at lizzie who of course was smirking at her like she had won.

"See I told you daddy she hit me I just retaliated is all" lizzie said 

"Girls can you please leave me and hope to talk for a second alone please?"

"of course, daddy' they say in union 

"don't go far we Arnt done here" he says as the twins close the door behind them

"Now hope you know we don't tolerate any kind of fighting here, it's different when we are training but we can't be starting fights with everyone who says something we don't like."

"But she" hope was cut off before she was finished

"Now I know my daughter and I don't doubt she was pushing your buttons, but that still doesn't make it right to hit her hope."

Hope just huffs knowing Hes's right

"Now I know it's your birthday so I'm not going to give you detention. BUT that doesn't mean you're not in trouble I have a different punishment in mind." he says clearing his throat

"Girls can you come back in here please" he yells for the twins

As the twins walk back in hope stares watching as lizzie just glares at her and josie doesn't keep her eyes off the ground, she can tell the brunette is upset but she can't figure out why as she was the on who just got in the most trouble.

As the twins sit down Alaric speaks again

"Now I'm getting really tired of having these conversations with you three. Detention obviously isn't working so instead of giving you three detention I have a better thought." the three girls just stare at him waiting for him to continue "there is a monster situation and instead of me going I've decided the three of you will be going instead while I stay and take care of some things."

The girls just huff not liking the idea but knowing there is nothing they can do about it

"Now its going to take you two days to get there so I've booked you guys a room; I expect the three of you to work together and deal with whatever issues you have and when your back there will be no more of these issues. Do you understand me."

'yes" the three girls all say ,none of them looking at each other

"Now go pack you will be heading out right away"

The three girls don't bother responding they head other the door to go pack.
