"I was your number one fan", Klaus admitted. "Why should I believe any of this?", Stefan asked. Klaus ignored his question but turned to two men. "When the two wake up tell them to meet us at Gloria's bar. Then volunteer your carotid artery and let them feed on the both of you until you die", Klaus instructed before walking away.

"Where are you going?", Stefan followed from behind.

"You think I'm lying Stefan. You and I knew each other. You trusted me with all of your secrets and now I am going to prove it to you", he started. "How?". "We're going to you old apartment".

As the two vampires walked into the apartment, Klaus heard someone. "Do you feel that?", he asked. "Is anybody here?". "Klaus, it's been vacant for decades. People must break in all the time", Stefan said.

"Why'd you bring me here, Klaus?".

"Your friend Liam Grant", Klaus started. "The one who drank his wife's blood- I could never figure out why you wanted his name. And then you told me your secret. It's was all part of your special little ritual.

Meanwhile, Elena Gilbert had been hearing their conversation in a closet. She turned to right and saw the name Liam Grant.

"To write it down", Stefan said. "And to relive the kill over and over again", Klaus continued. Klaus then turned to a closet  and opened and it and turned back to Stefan "Now do you believe", he said before walking around the apartment.

Stefan walked into the closet and found Elena.

She smiled at him softly but Stefan kept the same expression on his face. "Look who I found", Stefan informed Klaus while leaving Elena in complete shock. But it was Stefan. He's merciful. Instead, he grabbed a drink when Klaus appeared.

"1918", Klaus said. "Single malt".

As the two left Stefan shut the door closed and Elena sighed in relief.

Stefan and Klaus had been handed a drink by Gloria. "Where's Verena?", she asked. "I thought you wanted both of them?", Stefan asked. "Verena's stronger and older. Where is she?", she said as she turned to Klaus.

"She'll be here. You can't just conjure her on demand", he informed her.

"What's with you? Chicago was like your playground", Klaus asked Stefan. (oOoH, kLaUs CaRiNg AbOuT sTeFaN>>>>>>>>>>>>>)

"So, this is why you asked me to become your wingman?", Stefan asked annoyed. "Because you liked the way I tortured innocent people?". "Well, that's certainly half of it", Klaus said. "What the other half?".

"The other half, Stefan", Klaus said as he poured a drink in two cups. "Is that you used to be my wingman.

Chicago, 1922

As Rebekah and Verena danced, Klaus and Stefan were talking and drinking as if they were friends they haven't seen in a while.

"They're jealous", Stefan finally understood what Klaus had been speaking about. "Your family, beside Verena, wants you dead they can never be what you are". "What? an abomination?", he asked.

"No, a king", Stefan placed a hand on Klaus shoulder. Klaus turned to Stefan and smiled before they laughed and took another shot. "Look at us. Two sad orphans", Klaus said. "Who said I was sad. I might have meet my love", Stefan chuckled lightly.
