"Are we done?", Klaus asked Rebekah. She had been insulting everything of the 21st century and asked many questions about it. "And why are you so grumpy, Niklaus", Verena asked. "Let her have breathe for once. She's been in coffin for 9 decades".

"Verena, I needed one thing from you for my witch to find out why my hybrids are dying. One thing. Your necklace and you lost it". Verena simply laughed at her brother's idiocy. She knew that Elena Gilbert was still alive but there were people who still care about her. So, she kept quiet. But she didn't know everything about Elena Gilbert...and Stefan Salvatore.

"Nik, she didn't lost, it has been missing for 90 years", Rebekah stood up for her sister. "What do you think?", she changed the subject by asking about her outfit.

"It's fine", Stefan said. Verena turned to him with a questioning look. "What I said I like it". "Be more honest, Stefan. Rebekah is sensitive", she teased her sister. "I heard that, Verena", Rebekah said.

"Nice one, Stefan. Don't even know why my sister fancies' you?", Klaus poured himself another drink. "You're the one that pulled the dagger out of them". 

"All right, I'm going to get some fresh air", Stefan said getting up. As he got outside he looked around Chicago. Lots have change the past 90 years. Forgetting about the Mikaelson. Finding love. Falling in love with a woman who looked exactly like Katherine Pierce. 

Speaking of Katherine, she happened to here in Chicago. Stefan noticed her after the truck that was in front of her left. She signaled him to speak to him in a private area.

"What the hell are you doing here?", he asked once he found her. "You two look chummy. Klaus your new bestie? And Verena?", Katherine obviously being jealous of the two. "You know, if he finds out that you're in Chicago, you're dead", he said.

"Happy to know that you still care", Katherine smirked. "So, tell me if I'm wrong- Verena's necklace that Klaus is looking for... that's the necklace that you gave Elena".

"Bye, Katherine", Stefan ignored her questions. Katherine quickly stopped him from going away. "You're up to something aren't you". "They don't where the necklace is. I just have to keep them from figuring out. I have it all under control", he informed her.

"Please tell me you have a better plan. Come on, Stefan you're not the diabolical type. Whatever you're planning. It's not going to work". "Well, if the most diabolical woman I know can't figure it out then....then I must been doing something right.

"Woah, I forgot. You're bad now. Just to warn you, don't get to cocky. Klaus is very smart. Hell, smarter than every". Stefan just scoffed at her before walking away. "I heard about the oldest. She's calm but doesn't let it mess with you".

"Happy to know you still care, Katherine".

After Gloria found the necklace, the 4 vampires had been drinking off humans. "Verena, you fed off many humans. I'm bored", Rebekah wined. But Verena ignored her. "You weren't kidding about being hungry", Klaus turned to Stefan who had a girl who was almost dead

"Well, it's been a long day".

"Try being related to them". "Could say the say to you and your anger issues, Niklaus", Verena glared at her younger brother. "You're being mean", Rebekah said and Stefan laughed. "And why are you being mean?", she asked Stefan. "You were so in love with Verena on the first night. You were such an angel".

"It's been 90 years, Rebekah. Give him a break", Klaus said. "Why are you taking his side?". "Because, my dear sister. I feel pity for anyone who's with Verena. Rebekah I also feel pity for any man who doesn't give you what you want".

"Niklaus, why are you talking? No one ever loved you. Besides, Tatia loved Elijah more than you", Verena said. "Stop making me sound like a brat. I am not a brat!", Rebekah yelled. "A thousand years of experience says otherwise". "This is why you are the least favorite sibling".

"Well, you're no picnic either", Stefan admitted and Klaus looked at him offendedly. 

"I'm I've only spent one summer with you and I feel like I want to blow my head off". The two Mikaelson sister laughed at Stefan putting Klaus in his place.

"Verena", Stefan pulled her into a more silent and private area. His took the moment to look into the eyes that he loved. "God, I missed you so much", he pulled her into a kiss. "Wait, wait", she stopped him.

"Forget about her. I love you and always will. If Klaus hadn't compelled me to forget everything I would have spent 90 years looking for you. Find away to wake you up and spend the rest of our immortal life together".

"I love you too", she placed her hand on Stefan's cheek. "Don't say 'too', it sounds like you're agreeing with me". "I love you Stefan Salvatore". 

"Where are you going?", she asked a little while later. "Write a name on the wall", he lied. The truth is that he was going to stop Gloria from telling Klaus about Elena and the necklace.

The Mikaelson thought that Stefan had been writing the names of his victims on a wall, but he was actually being tortured by Gloria. "What is this?", Stefan groaned. "Why can't I move?". 

"Relax. It's a paralysis spell. Nothing major, Gloria cut one of Stefan's wrists. "Just got to get the information out of your head. You know witches now a day, they're into that age stuff but...", she walked towards Stefan's other wrist.

"I'm a little old school", she said after cutting his wrist.

Gloria walked to the table grabbed an object that was contained of magic to stop the healing process. She placed it into Stefan's wrist as he groaned loudly in pain.

"I won't tell you anything".

"You know my favorite way make a connection with you spirt is vervain. Let's get started shall we?", she smirked before placing her hands that were soaked with vervain onto Stefan's chest.

"I'm impressed", Gloria grabbed more vervain. "You got discipline, Stefan. It's not going to do you much good but...just let go, honey", she said before burning him with more vervain.

"There's a girl with the necklace", she got into Stefan's mind while he was screaming in pain. "You love her. You'd anything for her and you have. A lot of darkness and guilt. All to keep her away from Verena and Klaus. Well mostly Klaus".

"Why would he be interested. in one girl?", she asked and Stefan knew that she was getting closer to the truth. "Don't do this. Don't do this", he pleaded. 

"She's the doppelganger. She's supposed to be dead and that's why they can't make more hybrids isn't it?".

"Well, this is creepy?", Katherine came from behind after stabbing Gloria in the neck. "Maybe you do need my help after all".
