Chapter 8

"Teka, teka.. dahan dahan, ano?"

I woke up nung tumawag saakin si Bryle, tarantang taranta at parang paiyak na.

[W-wala na tayong t-trabaho, Lai..]

"Ano? Bry, ang aga pa para magbiro,"

[Hindi naman ako nagbibiro..] He said, I heaved a sigh.

"Bakit daw? Ang biglaan naman," I asked, calmly.

[Hindi ko rin alam, biglaan atang aalis yung may-ari ng cafe.. uuwi raw sa America.]

I sighed, nag usap pa kami ni Bryle nang kaonti bago ko inend yung call. Buti nalang ay marami na akong naipon, kaya pala 7k yung binigay kahapon, may biglaan palang pagsara.

It was honestly a shocking news for me, hindi ko alam ngayon kung saan ako makakakuha ng trabaho. I had savings kaya maybe.. I should rest muna for now. Hahanap nalang ako ng trabaho kapag kaya ko na ulit.

I had to take a bath immediately to refreshen up, I brushed my teeth before I went out of the bathroom. Pagkatapos na pagkatapos ko mag bihis ay nagtungo ako agad sa kusina, pinatong ko sa counter yung phone ko habang nagluluto, I was dialing Jae and Cleo.

Natapos ko na lutuin pagkain ko and I was already at my table, starting to eat. I dialled them again and thankfully they answered.

[Hello..] Jae.

[Hmm..] Cleo.

I chuckled lightly, mukhang nagising ko sila. It was 8am and usually kasi they wake up around 10am.

"Good morning, I'm sorry for ruining your sleep," I said, "Wala na kong trabaho."

[Ano?!] It was Jae, parang nagising ata diwa niya sa sinabi ko, she was almost yelling sa call.

[Tangina, Jaelyn Yvessa! Nagulat ako!] It was Cleo this time, napatawa ako. [Pero what? Anong nangyari?]

"I don't know, biglaan din.. Ang sabi aalis daw yung may ari nung café" I answered.

[Paano ka n'yan? Are you going to apply na sa Sivres?] Jae asked, I munched quietly on my food before I answered her question.

"I was planning on resting muna, for weeks maybe? Feeling ko masyado akong natutok sa pagttrabaho before,"

[Girl, I feel you,] Cleo answered as I heard her sigh, [Buti nalang I cleared my schedule for our girls night, I seriously need a fucking break.]

I heard Jae laugh, Cleo tends to swear a lot kapag seryoso siya and stressed.

[Punta kami d'yan,] I heard Jae, [Para deretso nalang tayo ng bar mamaya.]

[I have to try lots of make up styles kay Erin!] Cleo.

"Huh? para san naman 'ya-"

[Can't say no!] I sighed and chuckled in defeat.

"okay, sabi ko nga,"

We talked for a while before we ended the call, nakalimutan ko nga na nawalan ako ng trabaho dahil sakanila. I'm really grateful to have them.

"Erin, pikit! Wag ka malikot!" Cleo was.. idk scolding me?

"I'm sorry na nga!" I said, chuckling. I don't know kung anong look yung itinatry niya saakin kasi sabi niya surprise raw.

"I think bagay kay Erin itong seductive red lipstick," Jae said as she was retouching. Natapos na kasi sila ni Cleo magmakeup, talagang hinuli nila ako. Ewan ko sa mga yun, pinagttripan ata ako.

"Momol proof ba 'to, Cleo?" Jae asked, Cleo hummed. "Yeah, All the lipsticks I bought are."

"Buti naman."

"And we're done!" Cleo exclaimed, she clapped her hands before I opened my eyes to look at myself in the mirror that was in front of me.

My eyes stood out sa makeup. It was a nude-ish look, my lips were seductive red. It looked good on me.

"Damn, my girl's fierce," Jae said, I was already in my dress; the maroon satin dress Cleo bought for me.

"You look so pretty,"

"Thank you, Cleo!"

We retouch for a bit before we checked the time. It was already 9:50pm, and plan namin na dapat asa bar na kami by 10pm.

Cleo was wearing a black bra top and skirt while Jae was wearing a hot pink cowlneck top and parterning it with her black skirt. Cleo was wearing ankle boots, Jae and me were wearing heels.

We used Cleo's car papunta sa bar since mas kilala siya dun. Pagkapasok namin sa loob sumalubong saamin yung ingay, the music, yung mga naguusap na tao. Some of them were already making out!

We sat down the couch Cleo reserved for us, my lips parted when Cleo went back to our table, she was already holding a case of different drinks, putting them in our table.

May Black Label, Cuervo, Smirnoff, Bacardi, Jack Daniels and Of course, to start if off, San Mig Light.

Tag-dalawa kaming san mig, eto yung lagi naming iniinom pag start, it gets us in the mood.

Jae was taking videos to post in on her instagram story, nag picture na rin kaming tatlo and I posted it in mine. Cleo was known sa bar na 'to kaya madalas bigla nalang may babati sakanya.

"We're getting you a boy tonight." I heard Cleo said.

"Andami kong nakitang pogi rito," Jae.

"Pogi na respectful sana," I said. Narinig ko naman na tumawa silang dalawa.

"You have a point," Cleo said, "Pogi nga, gago naman. What's the use diba?"

"Tama!" Me and Jae answered.

"Mataas kasi standards mo, Erin!"

"Of course, why not? Why would I settle for less, duh!"

We continued chitchatting, andami rin pumupunta sa table namin dahil kay Jae, andaming gusto magpapicture sakanya. Minsan kay Cleo. Yung iba saming tatlo pa.

Napagkamalan pa kaming makakapatid, though, we did say na we are. Palagi kaming nagpagsasabihan na mukha kaming magkakapatid. Minsan they'll ask if triplets ba kami. We three were inseparable. Halos magkakaedad lang kami.

Jae was older than me for four months while Cleo was older than me for two months. Ako yung bunso saaming tatlo.

"Cleo! Pakilala mo naman samin yung mga kasama mo!"

"Sure! This is Ysa and Nics!" She introduced us. Me and Jae don't tell our real names pag asa bar. I mean Ysa and Nics are our names, It came from our second names, Yvessa and Nicolai.

Nung naubos namin yung San Mig namin, the fun started.
