Fate. the unbreakable chains that bind you to the wall that is destiny. But destiny isn't as set in stone as we'd like to think. Like it or not. It's full of loopholes. Certain things are set in stone. And certain things can be changed. All in all. It is our choice.
Thrae:
I shot up gasping for air (I was drowning in my last dream) I looked around I was in a large stone cathedral A giant glowing woman in a white dress thing.I shook my head
"You. Thrae Traful. You run from your past for a living. You need to wake up. I know you're confused. And I know you're scared but your friends need you now more than ever. You need to find them. The flower and the Elf scum. The fire is with you. And the demon will be on his way. You need to run and you need to hide from him." The giant woman said I blinked hard
"To win against the prince of hell you must find the weapons of the first author. The book allows sight into the future. The pencil allows Portability. The glasses allow clear sight. Find them all to save his heart. Trust is key to finding one the other likes to have fun. the last is hardest of all for finding this you'll have to recall" she spewed the earth rumbled and the ceiling started to fall
"Now. you must wake up. Wake up Thrae. You must." she said I tried to stand but i was hit with a piece of rubble It slammed hard into my gut blood oozed out of a cut the rubble made I felt pain shoot through my body I couldn't move. I layed on my back staring at the ceiling as a piece fell and hit me in the neck I felt the life leaving my body images flashed like a whirlwind so fast I couldn't register most of them but I recognized a few, an elf boy, Vinter, Clover, Anon the rest was too fuzzy my vision faded to black my eyes flew open I shot up Holding my gut I blinked hard my vision was fuzzy. I stood rubbing my eyes I walked out of the tent to see Anon staring into a campfire she looked up and waved
"Why are you up?" She asked
"I was gonna ask you the same question," I said
"Well, you didn't." She said
"Nightmares," I said
"Oh, ok. Makes sense." She said
"You?" I asked
"Can't sleep longer than five hours these days." She said shaking her head
"Oof. that must be bad," I said she nodded I sat down on the log across from her she looked past me
"Oh great. Here comes my brother and Ash. . ." She grumbled rolling her eyes, Ez and Ash walked over Ezrin had his usual cheery smile on
"Anon! Good! You're here!" He said
"Where else would I be? Not like I can move in with you." She growled her eyes narrowing
"I don't know, you don't really tell me anything," He said his smile faltering for a moment she rolled her eyes
"Because I was cut out! You're not my dad! I don't have to tell you everything!" She said angrily his face was shocked she was glaring at him
"I'm not trying to be dad. I'm just trying to be in your life. We used to share everything. I didn't want that to change." he said looking down
"Life changes Ez. maybe it's time you accept that," she said standing and walking away I looked at Ash confused
"Anon and Ez's parents died. They were sent to the council, which is other members of their family, and Anon was outcast because of her "odd behavior." She was thrown on the streets and broke down. A mage happened to be passing by and asked her what happened, so she told them and they cursed everyone in her family except for Ezrin" Ash explained
"I should have done something more to help her." Ezrin said Ash put his hand on Ezrins shoulder
"It's alright. It's not your fault." Ash said
"Anon doesn't think that." He said
"Siblings fight, you'll make up," I said Ezrin looked at me with that grin on his face
"That's the spirit!" Ash said grinning at me too
"Also are you two like a thing?" I asked grinning Ezrin and ash both blushed and looked at the ground
"N-No. were just friends," Ash said
"Uh-huh, that's why you're both blushing huh?" I asked smugly
"Your one to talk," Ash said
"You and clover practically turn into tomatoes when anyone asks you if you are together" Ash shot back. I blushed
"Well- uh- yeah it's- it's an awkward question!!"
"Oh shush, you had no problem asking us that "awkward" question," Ash said grinning Ezrin was still trying to compose himself Vinter walked out yawning he looked at us and rolled his eyes sitting on one of the logs
Ash coughed and muttered something
"The hell did you just say to me?" Vinter growled shooting up
"Nothing! Nothing!" Ash said
"Fuck you." Vinter growled Ash rolled his eyes
"That's a garbage comeback." he said
"Not as garbage as you," Vinter retorted
"Damn. I walked right into that one didn't I?" Ash said I nodded
"Well if I'm garbage I don't want to know what you are." Ash shot back after thinking a bit. I chuckled at their petty arguing.
"What? you want to add to that Wing boy?" Vinter asked
"Yeah, sure, Your nicknames are even worse than your comebacks." I said
"Damn! I mean you're not wrong" Ash said grinning
"Hey guys." Clover said walking out with Dak right behind Clover sat next to me and I remembered my dream
"Uh, I actually have something to tell you guys." I said
"What?" Vinter asked
"I may or may not have had a dream where i was visited by this giant glowing lady in a crumbling stone cathedral who told me a prophecy about some sort of demon prince guy and that i need to find a flower and an elf? I don't know the meaning was really unclear-" I stopped breathing heavily
"Wait- did you say the cathedral was crumbling?" Vinter asked I nodded He stared into my eyes fear filling his
"No. it can't, it's not supposed to happen this fast!" Vinter said
"What isn't supposed to happen?" I asked
"The cathedral is supposed to represent time. The lady represents fate. If the cathedral crumbles. That means time is ripping apart at the seams. Thrae. You need to tell me Exactly what she said." Vinter said
END. *maniacl laughter* this was fun. See ya
