Y/n's look:
~Outside~
The Whomping Willow sulks in the courtyard, slings strung about its injured branches. Y/n: "Hermione!" Hermione: "Come on we're going to be late. Where are your robes?" Y/n: "Don't question." They head to the Greenhouse, where students hurry inside for the beginning of class.
~Inside the Greenhouse~
As Harry and Ron enter, Seamus, Neville, and some of the other Gryffindors hover nearby. Neville: "Detention. On the first day?" Seamus: "That must be some kind of record." Hermione: "I should think you'd count yourself lucky that's all you got." Y/n: "Shoulda been expelled for breaking Magic of Ministry Laws." Ron: "I should think you'd mind your own business." They glare at each other. Professor Sprout, a squat little witch, taps her wand on a stack of pots. Sprout: "Welcome to Greenhouse Three, Second Years. Today, we will be re-potting Mandrakes. Now, who here can tell me the properties of the Mandrake? Yes, Miss Granger." Hermione: "Mandrake, or Mandragora, is used to return those who have been transfigured to their original state. It's also quite dangerous. The Mandrake's cry is fatal to anyone who hears it." Sprout: "Excellent. Ten points to Gryffindor. As our Mandrakes are only seedlings, their cries won't kill yet. However, they will knock you out for several hours. That is why I have provided each of you with a pair of earmuffs. If you would then..." Y/n creates a black fluffy pair of earmuffs. Ron frowns. He's gotten a bright pink fluffy pair. Ron: "Trade?" Y/n: "No." When the class is ready, Professor Sprout leads them to the garden area. She grasps one of the tufty plants before her... and pulls. Harry gasps. Instead of roots, a small, muddy, extremely ugly baby pops out of the earth, leaves growing right out of its head. Neville's eyes roll back. He faints. Professor Sprout plunges the bawling creature deep into a pot, removes her earmuffs, and the others follow suit. Everyone sees Neville, who lies stretched on the ground. Sprout: "Hm. Looks as though Mr. Longbottom neglected his muffs." Y/n: "It looks like he fainted from how ugly that baby was." Draco laughs. Seamus: "No, ma'am. He's just fainted." Sprout: "Very well. We'll just leave him then. Come now. Four to a tray, plenty of pots to go round..."
~Regulus Class~
Regulus is writing on the board. Sapphire floats through the open door with Hermione, Ron, and Harry. Regulus: "Sapphire, your body needs to be here for class aswell." Sapphire: "It's bringing Neville to the Hosptial wing." Regulus points to a group of seats in a corner. Regulus: "Do you have the book with you?" Sapphire: "Yeah!" Y/n runs in. Sapphire: "Bye!" Y/n: "Sorry 'bout that." Y/n sits with Hermione. Hermione: "Body?" Y/n: "I can go to the Astral Plane without going unconscious. Adrian! Cedric! Over here!" The rest of the students find their seats. Regulus: "Hello." Pansy raises her hand. Regulus: "Yes, Ms. Parkinson?" Pansy: "Where's the teacher?" Regulus: "I am the teacher. There's a book in front of you open to page 21." Y/n and Adrian open their books to the right page. Regulus: "Does anyone remember what the Book of Sins is?" Pansy raises her hand. Regulus: "Ms. Parkinsin?" Pansy: "A myth?" Regulus: "Wrong. Anyone else?" Cedric raises his hand. Regulus: "Mr. Diggory?" Cedric: "The original copy of the Darkhold?" Regulus: "Yes and no. Any Darkhold can be called the Book of sins. Anyone else?" Adrian: "A tool for dark magic?" Regulus: "Yes, but more specific." Y/n finally raises her hand. Regulus: "Ms. Potter?" Y/n: "The Darkhold, also known as the Book of Sins, the Book of Spells, or the Book of the Damned, was a book of spells containing transcribed dark magic based on ancient engravings carved by Chthon. For years many people tried to find the Darkhold, including Johann Schmidt, Daniel Whitehall, and Nick Fury." Regulus: "Good. Who can read it? Mr. Potter?" Harry: "Magical beings?" Regulus: "Half correct. Ms. Granager?" Hermione: "Anyone." Regulus: "Yes. Why? Mr. Malfoy." Draco: "Magic." Regulus: "That's how. Ms. Potter." Y/n: "Chthon assured that the Darkhold is intelligible in any language." Regulus: "The Darkhold's pages contain a number of powerful black magic spells. However, its influence is so strong that all those who read it are corrupted, losing their souls and becoming possessed by Chthon. In a sense, it is the antithesis of the Book of the Vishanti. The Darkhold Dwarf and the Other are known to appear either to challenge those who attempt to use it, to warn them about the dangers of the Darkhold, or to entice a person to use a page or spell. What's an exception to this?" Y/n raises her hand with Pansy, Hermione, Harry, Cedric, and Adrain. Regulus: "Keep your hands up. Mr. Potter!" Harry: "None." Regulus: "Incorrect." Harry, Hermione, and Pansy lower their hands. Regulus: "Mr. Pucey." Adrian: "If the person is a living Horcrux they can still potentially have a soul.since there was two souls in them." Regulus: "Correct. While there are copies of the Darkhold in existence, there is only one "true" Darkhold: the original Darkhold, made from the flesh of an Elder God." Regulus continues talking.
~Great Hall~
Percy enters with the company of Penelope Clearwater, just as Nearly Headless Nick glides by. Penelope: "There's Nearly Headless Nick." Percy: "Hello, Sir Nicolas." Nick: "Hello, Percy. Miss Clearwater." Y/n: "'Sup, Nick." At the Gryffindor table, Hermione has her nose buried in Gilderoy Lockhart's Travels with Trolls. Ron runs gobs of Spellotape over his broken wand and shakes his head grimly. Ron: "Say it. I'm doomed." Y/n & Harry: "You're doomed." FLASH! -- a light blinds Harry. He blinks and finds a small boy standing before him with a camera. Colin: "Hiya, Harry. I'm Colin Creevey. I'm in Gryffindor too." Harry: "Hello, Colin. Nice to meet --" Colin: "They're for my dad -- the pictures. He's a milkman, you know, a Muggle, like all our family's been until me. No one knew all the odd stuff I could do was magic till we got my letter from Hogwarts. Everyone just thought I was mental." Ron: "Imagine that." Y/n: "What about me?" Colin: "Y/n Potter!" Y/n: "Yeah. Y/n Natayla Maximoff Potter, at your service." Colin: "Say, Harry. D'you think your friend could take a photo of me and you standing together? Ya' know, to prove I've met you?" Harry glances at Ron. He looks positively homicidal. Y/n: "Why not have the picture take itself?" Y/n takes a picture with Colin and then uses magic to sign it. Colin: "Thanks!" Mercifully, just then, owls stream into the Hall. Dean: "Post is here!" One after another, the birds swoop gracefully down, clutching letters from home. All except one, who plops beak-first into Ron's soup. Errol. Ron: "Bloody bird's a menace -- Oh...no." Seamus: "Heads up, everyone. Weasley's gotten himself a Howler." Neville: "Go on, Ron. I ignored one from my Gran once... and it was horrible." Ron looks pale. Clutched in Errol's beak is a damp red envelope. Hands shaking, he takes it, opens it, and... Mrs. Weasley's voice thunders, sending plates and spoons rattling. Mrs. Weasley: (V.O.) "RONALD WEASLEY! HOW DARE YOU STEAL THAT CAR! I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED! YOUR FATHER'S NOW FACING AN INQUIRY AT WORK AND IT'S ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT! IF YOU PUT ANOTHER TOE OUT OF LINE WE'LL BRING YOU STRAIGHT HOME! (softening suddenly) Oh, and Ginny dear. Congratulations on making Gryffindor. Your father and I are so proud." Ginny, sitting a bit apart from the others, looks up shyly, then returns to the small black book she's scribbling in. Ron watches the envelope rip itself into pieces, then endures howls of laughter from the other House tables. Colin Creevey snaps a few photos. Harry looks sympathetically at Ron. Y/n places a hand on Ginny's shoulder. Y/n: "Hermione and I are having a sleepover do you want to join?" Ginny: "S-sure." Y/n: "I know what that diary does. I wouldn't dance with it for long. It reeks of Dark magic." Ginny: "He's a nice guy." Y/n: "He's dead Ginny. That book is a good 50 years old. I just want you to be careful. If you're feeling weak or ill please come to me. I have some potions that'll be able to help." Ginny: "Thanks." Y/n: "Be careful." Harry: "Look at it this way. How much worse can things get?"
