It was a bright day in Bonesborough, the animals were peacful, Boscha didn't come to school, and the boiling rain was far away.

It was a beautiful day,

but not for (Y/N).

Their problem wasn't anything big, for most of the people, but for them it was a big one.

It was about Luz, the human girl.

They have been friends with her since she got to the Boiling Isles, they went to the same school, lived kida close, met up often, they had a pretty good friendship overall.

But there was this one thing that stopped (Y/N) from being the girls' bestest friend.

That friend group.

Those kids from the school seemed to spend much more time with her than the (H/C) did.

And the (H/C) didn't like that.

Like, of course, they would be there and go to places with all of them, but just for Luz.

There was something in that girl that didn't let (Y/N) get her off of their mind.

The (H/C) was sitting on a log, drawing in their notebook, they were supposed to practice glyps for Luz, but they got inspired by some firebees who were flying by, not so far.

They got out of the peaceful trance, when they heard a sound, their ear twitched slightly.

The (H/C) looked in the direction of the sound, "Not again.." The witch mumbled, as they saw Luz, walking with those guys again.

They were kind of jealous, they didn't admit, but they were a bit sad and angry at the same time, that Luz choose those other kids over them.

Tho (Y/N) didn't understand why they felt that way, they wanted to be with Luz, always.

The witch then stood up, and just stared at them having a good time. (Y/N) sighed, ears dropping down, thinking maybe they aren't good enough for Luz.

They were ready to walk away and find a new place, when you heard a question that standed out for them, out of all the laughing.

"Why are you hanging out with (Y/N) tho? They are- I don't know, weird- A bit, if you get what I mean-" Willow asked Luz, she didn't want to be rude, she just thought that the (H/C) was really different.

Luz dropped her grin to a small smile. "What do you mean? I think they are cool, I like hanging out with them." She chirped. "I don't know Luz, noone really knows them and they have won every witches duel they have been challenged to." The girl with glasses said.

"What about it? Amity is not well known, and she won the witches duel I challenged her to, but she's not that bad.Besides I know (Y/N) well now, and they are a good person, they wouldn't hurt me or anyone." Luz said, she really sounded like she meant those things.

(Y/N) was almost ready to make a circle with their finger, but when they heard what Luz said, they decided to back out.

"Well, thanks Luz, but.. maybe we just aren't meant to be." (Y/N) said as their eyes got watery. They sighed and waked away to find a new spot for themselves.
