"Okay get out, shitheads" Amelia says stopping the car and turning off the engine. "Lia you can go back home now" James says grabbing his red vans backpack and leaving the car. "I'm coming with you and you cannot say no" She says opening the driver seat door. "Amelia no, and before you ask me why it's too much to explain now-" She cuts him off and says "James Miller, I don't freaking care if your ass disowns me as a sister but I promised mom that will not let anyone or anything lay a finger on you, so I will come with you whether you like it or not, and that goes for all of you" She adds tilting her head and pointing at the shorter teens in front of her. "I- okay, but promise us you won't be mad" The shorter red haired female, Hazel exclaims putting her hands together. "Listen, I know I can act like a dick to y'all sometimes but you are all still my little brothers friends and I care about you all the same. So please let me help you in whatever the hell you shits are gonna do because clearly you all are terrified of something and you know damn well I'm not letting anything touch you" Amelia says staring into each of their eyes. "Now let's go because I'm wearing this short ass dress and it's freezing out here" She says huffing out and rubbing her arms.

"Guys hurry up, come in and close the door!" Someone says anxiously "What's going on, why is everyone panicking" Amelia asks confused as she looks to her younger brother for answers. "You didn't tell her?" "Tell me what, guys what is happening" "So, uhm you know how we always go to the arcade" He says rubbing his temples for some sort of relief "Yeah?" She replies even more confused now, as she tugs down her dress again suddenly feeling like she was underdressed. "Well when we were on our way there we sort of ran into a problem..." "A demogorgon" "It's a monster" The younger teens all said at the same time. "Wait wait, you said what? A demogorgon?" "James you better not be playing with me because I goddamn know that a 'demogorgon' is something in that damn old ass game you like to play" Amelia adds as anger rushes to her brain thinking that they scared her for nothing "Listen Lia I know it sounds ridiculous but-" He says before getting cut off again by Lia "Ridiculous? Hell it's more than ridiculous, you mean to tell me that you guys found a monster in real life" She says clearly annoyed by her younger brothers antics while pointing at the younger friend group "Kid, he's telling the truth" She looks up at the taller woman that is nearing her carefully. "Mrs Williams, you really believe this crap? I mean th-" "Yes, I do because I know for a fact that it is real, I have seen it with my own two eyes. It took my boy"

Mrs Williams takes Amelia's hand and leads her to the small leather couch in the living room and sits her down with a soft "Sit down please" The younger teens all move to surround the older two, they watch as the troubled mother explains everything to the teen, her face full of pure hatred for the thing as it took the only thing keeping her alive, her precious son. "S-so basically it came from another world, and in order to get Luke back we need to go there" Amelia asks, her face now flushed with terror as she believes the people in front of her. "B-but what about the girl, you said that this girl with 'powers' can help. Where is she now?" She adds barely comprehending what she said. "She is in the woods with Aaron, they are trying to find the portal" Mrs Williams exclaims steading herself from breaking down at the mention of her beloved son. "God, I can't believe I went from partying into possibly fighting monsters" Amelia states as she brushes her hair away from her face with her fingers. "The thing is, we need to go to it's 'world' to find Luke like now, we don't have much time" Hazel says looking around the room to meet the eyes of the trembling mother. "Alright then what are we waiting for? let's hurry and get Luke back" Amelia says agreeing and standing up to find some sort of weapon.

"So the plan is, we go through the portal and look for him everywhere" James says smacking the hand drawn map leading to the portal onto the table. "Careful, we need to be careful." The innocent short haired girl who Amelia most definitely thought was a boy at first spoke out "So she's the girl?" Lia whispers into her brothers ears "Yup" James replies back looking up at his older sister. 

The group get ready, as the younger teens put on protective vests that Mrs Williams had gotten for them, when they were playing paintball one day. The older teen didn't wear one as she thought it was unnecessary and quite uncomfortable for her. Mrs Williams was about to wear it instead when Amelia softly grabs her by her shoulders and says "Mrs Williams you are not coming with us" "No I am" "No you are not" She replies back looking into the mothers eyes pleadingly. "You can barely stand without your legs shaking with fear, so please for the love of god just stay here. I promise you we will get Luke back and into your arms safely" Amelia adds rubbing Mrs Williams's hands with her own attempting to comfort her a little. "O-okay okay just take care of the little ones okay?" She says with her voice trembling. "My brother is one of them, and I will never let anything touch him or the others" Lia exclaims looking at the older woman's dark eyes, she gets pulled into a tight embrace by the woman indicating that she wants her to take care of herself as well.

"Okay dorks get in" Amelia says as she and the rest had walked away from the Williams's house and into the drive way where she had parked Harper's car. "Now, where exactly is this 'portal'..."

"Woah" Amelia exclaims as she gets out the car and stares at the glowing red "portal"  that seemed to have vines slithering all around it. She slams the door closed as all the others followed her out. "Woah indeed" James says, his eyes fixed on the portal. Amelia looked down at the shorter teens to find that the red glow had caused everything to look red, and the red haired girl with them looked like her hair was a bright shade of neon red. "Okay, I'm going in first" Amelia states as she blows out a huff of air while pulling out the sharp camping knife she carried in her hand, she begins cutting away the slimy vines to make a big enough hole for her and the rest to go through. She goes in head first as she tries pulling her legs from one side into the other, she succeeds and lands on her now gunky heels. She moves aside and helps the other four in. "Tell me why I'm wearing heels in another dimension" She sighs and grimaces as she cleans off her nude colored heels. "You're an idiot for not asking Mrs Williams for a pair of shoes" James adds looking around the now dull looking place, smacking away the particles that were floating all around the air. Amelia glares at him, then moves her head to look around the place herself. "Guys, this looks exactly like our world but more..eerie?" She says staring at their surroundings. "It does" "look over there, that's the car" Hazel exclaims as she points to the direction where Amelia parked the car. They all start walking to it. "It looks like it has been here for years" The blonde boy, Aaron adds slightly tapping the overgrown looking car. "My god- AHH" Amelia starts but then screams as a bat looking creature jumps out of the car and screeches at the group and flies straight to Amelia's head, but instead of it ripping her eyes out it stops and screeches again, now in pain. Amelia looks at it, terrified and looks back seeing the short haired girl with her arm up pointing at the creature, and in a second the creature bursts into goo and splashes all over them. "LIA ARE YOU OKAY?" James says running up to Amelia as she breathes out. "I'm fine" She adds looking to the girl that saved her. "Y-you saved me, thank you" She says going up to the girl and wrapping her arms around the fragile teen. The younger girl slowly accepts the hug and puts her arms around the older girls waist. Amelia lets go as she continues to look around the place not forgetting to wipe off the bat goo the splattered all over her, thankfully it didn't ruin her dress even though she couldn't care less at that moment.
