On the following day, William and Fallon spent most of their time in Galveston walking along the sea wall, shopping at the various gift shops, and riding roller coasters at a popular theme park that existed on a large pier that extended out into the gulf called The Pier. After their fun-filled day in Galveston, they return to their beach house in Surfside to spend the rest of their evening relaxing and watching movies.

It was now almost 8:00pm and William was on the phone with his wife while Fallon was in the bathroom blow drying her hair after a shower. In desperate need of a cigarette, he paces around the living room as he half-listens to his wife ramble on about her sister's operation and recovery.

Several minutes pass and Fallon emerges from the bedroom in a flowing white chiffon summer dress. The dress hung off her shoulders and fell just above her mid-thigh with long draping sleeves that help exaggerate the flouncy aesthetic of the garment. It was also rather sheer and meant to be worn over a swimsuit, but Fallon was wearing nothing underneath and thus her bare body could be seen through the thin material. She smiles at him before she opens the sliding glass doors and steps outside to the deck patio. With wide eyes and an open mouth, William watches her as she steps outside.

"Will!", June calls out through the phone.

Startled by her agitated voice, he immediately refocuses his attention to the conversation with his wife.

"Ah, sorry, dear! I'm here.", he assures her.

"I was asking what you had planned for the fourth. Hear anything from Malcolm?", she asks, hoping that he would spend some time with friends and not be shut in at home working the whole holiday weekend.

"Oh, I think I'll just be home... I have some work I can catch up on, so I'll probably just do that. If Malcolm ends up having people over, I may stop by for a beer.".

June sighs. "Don't just work all weekend... Go to Malcolm's and have fun, please...".

William steps over to the glass doors and pulls the plastic blinds to the side to peer out to the deck where Fallon was. She was leaning on the railing and looking out into the gulf, the sun was setting and was thus casting a heavenly orange glow across the sky. The scene of Fallon's hair blowing in the wind with the waves breaking in the background as the setting sun projects a warm hue across her skin and dress was romantic. He again loses focus from his wife as he gazes upon her naked body through her sheer dress.

"William!", June once again shouts through the phone.

"Yes!", he responds.

"I'm just gonna let you go... You're obviously not even paying attention to me so whats the point of being on the phone...".

"I'm sorry, darling... I'm just... tired today.".

"So am I, Will, but I've been dying to talk to you all day. You've barely respond to any of my texts, and now that I finally have you on the phone, you can't even give me ten minutes...".

William sighs and rubs his face. "You're right, hon... I'm sorry.".

"Just forget it... I'll talk to you tomorrow... Hopefully...".

"Darling, please—".

June hangs up the phone before he could redeem himself. Knowing that he had just royally messed up, he pulls a cigarette from his pack and steps out side to join Fallon on the patio. He closes the door behind him before taking a seat on the picnic table that was set up in the middle area of the patio. Feeling stressed that he had left their conversation on such a bad note, he lights his smoke and takes a deep drag. Fallon turns around to face him, she could see that he was stressed and she wanted to cheer him up somehow.
