The day progresses and their game continues throughout all 18 holes, ending with William's score of 79 beating Spencer's score of 81 by just two strokes. Fallon had done her best to keep up with the men, but they were much more skilled than she was, and she quickly fell behind on the back nine as her body grew tired. Though she could not match the men's skill level, she was proud of herself for finishing the course without slowing them down and was happy with her score of 102.

With their game concluded, they head inside the club house to relax with food and drinks. The three of them are greeted by the hostess and sat at a comfortable booth table with Fallon and William on one side and Spencer on the other. They are promptly greeted by their server, a young rosy blonde girl with glasses. As Spencer had lost to William, he orders a round of beers for himself and William and an orange mimosa for Fallon on his tab before they each place their food orders.

Time passes as they merrily speak on the details of the game, and they eventually receive their drinks and food. After a quick 'cheers' with their drinks to commemorate their day, they begin to eat their meals and continue to enjoy each other's company with additional stories of past games. Fallon listens to the men laugh about their past experiences together as she happily eats her fish and chips.

Upon the table, his phone begins to vibrate. He looks over to it and sees that it was Tera from the office calling him. Assuming that the call was a work-related matter, he excuses himself from the table conversation and answers Tera's call. Speaking to Tera, he learns that she had called to ask him a particular question regarding an examiner's rejection and wanted to hear his legal opinion on how to go about responding. William was intrigued by Tera's question, but knew he needed a few minutes to thoroughly explain his thoughts.

"Hey you two, I just got a work-related call from the office. Y'all mind if I step away for a bit?", he asks, looking to Spencer and then to Fallon.

"No worries, William, take your call.", he says, amicably waving off William's hesitation, "Fallon and I will be alright here. Right, dear?".

"Yes, sir!", she replies with a happy nod.

William smiles as he stands from his seat. "Haha, okay.".

Bringing his phone to his ear, William steps away from their table and walks outside of the clubhouse to continue his conversation with Tera. Fallon looks over to a smiling Spencer and giggles from his exuberant demeanor. She is by no means uncomfortable around him and quite enjoys his southern charm.

Fallon suddenly feels her phone vibrate in her pocket. Now distracted from Spencer across from her, she quickly pulls her phone and sees that she had received a picture message from an unknown number. Confused by the random text, she opens it and discovers a photo of a yellow sticky-note with words written on it. The photo is then followed by a short text:

Unknown (text): "Call me 😘".

Fallon's stomach drops, recognizing right away the familiar flawless cursive that was Amy's handwriting.

"Miss Fallon, may I ask you something?", Spencer asks, breaking Fallon's focus on Amy's message.

"Wha? Ah...", she stammers before pulling herself back into the moment with Spencer, "Of course, sir.". Deciding to ignore Amy for the moment, she turns off her phone and sets it on the seat to her right.

"Will and I were quite impressed with how well you played today. I confess, I would've never guessed a pretty little thing like yourself would be so skilled in the game. You must have played on a team in middle school and high school, yeah?", Spencer asks, tilting his head inquisitively.

Fallon pauses for a moment, thinking back to her life back in Georgia during her freshman year in high school. It was coach Braiser that introduced her to the driving range and, more importantly, how to swing a club. Now back in the memory of being with him and watching as he lectured her on how to follow through with her swing, she smiles and looks to Spencer.
