2. That Night on the Rooftop (Fluff)

Guren and Shinya had been friends since high school, they've been through a lot together and shared many fond memories together... But the thing is, they both can't get the courage to confess the feelings they have for one another, Shinya is aware of his feelings for Guren, he just can never muster up the courage to confess, but when Guren feels feelings towards Shinya he just denies it, at all costs. Guren is afraid of loving ever again, after what happened in the past he can't seem to just shake it off. Goshi had invited Guren, Shinya, and the others over to his house to hang out, he said he had alcohol, shogi boards, and some fun other games. Shinya wasn't too fond of alcohol, but Guren would let himself drown in alcohol if he could, Shinya is there to stop that from happening.

At the hangout almost everyone gets drunk, Shinya is about the only one who's sober. Shinya stayed to make sure none of them got themselves hurt or did anything stupid, that night was a lot of fun. When everything calmed down and it was around midnight, Guren suddenly grabbed Shinya's hand. "Come with me, I want to show you something," Guren said, Shinya agreed and followed Guren as he led him upstairs, Shinya was blushing a bit because Guren was holding his hand. Guren stopped at a window, there was a small roof part out the window, Guren carefully crawled out the window. 

"Woah be careful!" Shinya warned, Shinya hesitated but crawled out the window too.

Guren sat down on the roof, "sit," he said to Shinya, and Shinya sat next to him. 

"What did you want to show me?" Shinya asked curiously, Guren pointed up and Shinya looked up at the night sky, it was so beautiful, a full moon and a black sky filled with stars, all the stars were glimmering as if they were specks of glitter, the sight was so beautiful. "Woah.. It's so pretty." Shinya looked at Guren and smiled.

Guren's face was red from the alcohol, Guren suddenly spoke, maybe he was a bit too straightforward. "Shinya, I love you."

Shinya blushed and stared at Guren, Shinya's brain was all over the place now, his thoughts were rushing in and in. Guren just said he loved me?! Omg, what do I do?! He's just staring at me now, what do I do omg, 

Suddenly Shinya could feel the soft touch of lips pressing against his lips, he was so shocked that all this was happening, still. Shinya melted into the kiss. Guren pulled away and looked at Shinya again. Shinya realized it must be the alcohol that was doing all of this, Guren won't remember anything that happened on the rooftop that night... Shinya decided not to tell Guren about what he did that night, he didn't want their friendship to be ruined... He didn't want Guren to leave him, Guren is the only thing that gives Shinya purpose to live. So even if they have to stay as friends, so be it.
