Monica walks up to the screen behind Darcy with her jaw practically on the floor. The team just came back into the base after Wanda threatened them.
"I can't believe that's her." Darcy mutters, her arms crossed as she leans back in her chair, watching Wanda, Y/n, Billy, and Tommy look for a small dog by the name of 'Sparky'.
"Her sister." Monica breathes, and shakes her head. "How did we not see this coming?" She says and looks at Jimmy across from her, who had a hand on his hip and the other rubbing his chin.
"Everything makes more sense now, I mean think about it." Monica says.
"She was presumed dead along with her parents." Darcy shakes her head.
"But she said it herself; She lived with Wanda for years. Only, really, it was way before the Avengers." Monica says.
"We're talking about two of the most powerful people on the planet, and they just so happen to be siblings?" Jimmy finally speaks up.
"But she also said if Wanda was going to mind-control her, she would've done it already." Darcy points out. "So, how would Wanda have suddenly developed that power?"
Monica thinks for a second, looking around the cork board that holds all the information of civilians the agents were able to identify in Westview.
"Maybe she didn't." Monica states, walking up to the cork board. "I was able to take control of my own mind at one point in the hex." She begins. "The only way Wanda noticed was when I slipped up and mentioned our reality."
"You're saying, Y/n is faking it?" Jimmy asks.
"Maybe not entirely, but it's a possibility." Darcy adds.
"Bring who back?" They hear a voice on the broadcast, catching their attention.
Y/n's stance shows anxiety. The way she looks at Vision; You can tell she feels some kind of overwhelming emotion.
"I don't believe we've met." Vision says and extends his hand for Y/n to shake. Her eyes strongly analyzing him.
"See? That isn't the face of someone being introduced to a stranger they've never met." Monica points to the screen.
"What if she isn't really being mind-controlled but having her actions controlled?" Monica proposes. "She can't say the things she wants, but she still shows that emotion- her-her words are being filtered."
"Like a script," Darcy adds.
"Just not as restricted." Jimmy says.
"But if she's strong enough to have some sort of resistance towards Wanda's power, there's probably a way for her to completely push through it." Monica says and grabs a file that was resting on a desk.
"Okay, did we all just come to the same consensus together?" Darcy says, looking between Jimmy and Monica.
There's a moment of silence as Monica's eyes scatter all over the page.
"Maybe it's not a matter of finding Y/n's strength, but finding Wanda's weakness..." Monica says finally looking back up.
"I heard the doorbell..." Y/n says on the TV.
The three of them looking back over to the screen and watching closely.
When the door was fully open, Y/n and Wanda froze with their eyes on the person in the doorway. Y/n didn't even realize she wasn't breathing until she felt dizzy from the lack of oxygen.
