The one who never knew

37 4 2

Below the earth, above the skies

A forbidden cloud of truth and lies

Filled with desperate heartless cries

Where all shall live and all shall die.

A peaceful place once to retreat

Has turned and favoured dull concrete

Now only painful words we shall greet

Raging anger and will to cheat

THE ONE WHO NEVER KNEW

A thought appears every now and then

A love once loved but lost again

A tale told by many wise men

As rare as a lamb in a lion’s den

He had eyes of lapis lazuli

He walked her mind so casually

He had broken her heart so gradually

It ended oh so tragically

THE ONE WHO NEVER KNEW

The winter came, the winter went

Words of wisdom soon were sent

Years of torture, the days of lent

Every death must leave a dent

THE ONE WHO ALWAYS KNEW
