Authors note: Just a heads up for chapters seven and eight some things won't make sense if you haven't read 'My expiration date is why I can't let you love me'.

I woke up after only four hours of sleep. I looked down at Josie seeing her curled up laying against me, 'How did I get so lucky?' I asked myself. I creeped out of bed trying my best not to wake Josie up, she really needs her rest after yesterday and last night and early this morning.

I had a quick shower, wishing Jo was in here with me. I walked out of my en suite wrapped in a towel, looking over at Josie seeing her comfortably sleeping, I smiled to myself. I quickly got dressed for today, I have a lot planned.

Before I left to finish some last minute touches for our anniversary, I wrote Josie a note and left her a glass of my blood, knowing she won't be very mobile when she wakes.

I woke up finding the bed empty with just me laying in it. I groaned, "Hope where are you?" I muffled into the sheets. With no response I put my head up searching for Hope, finding her no where to be seen. Over on the bedside table I saw a note, I wriggled over feeling an ache in my body and grabbed it.

'Josie my love, I don't expect you to be up for a few more hours, when you wake get ready and meet me where it all started.
P.S. drink my blood I know you most definitely can't walk. ;)
I Love you - Hope'

"I love you too", I said putting the note back on the table. I tried to get out of bed to go and get ready, but was immediately stopped by the ache in my legs. Hope is right I can't walk, I grabbed the glass of blood and tried to drink it all at once not liking the taste. I felt the ache in my legs slowly go until I couldn't feel it anymore. I walked to Hope's en suite and had a nice warm shower, wishing Hope was in here with me.

Walking out of the bathroom I walked to Hope's closet, well Hope's closet I have taken over since I practically live in her room now. I picked out a cute but causal outfit, perfect anniversary attire, especially considering I know nothing about todays activities. After getting ready I went to my mom's office picking up Hope's gift.

"Meet me where it all started. That could be like four different places. Way to be specific Hope", I said to myself walking through the school, getting stares. I thought about the first place I meet Hope, I gasped at the realisation, the front yard of the school.

I walked out to the front in the exact spot me and Hope first met, I found a note and a bouquet of red roses. 'You had a crush on me?' The note read, my cheeks turned into a light blush from the memory. With the understanding of what Hope has planned, I made my way back inside to Lizzie and I's room.

I walked inside to find a letter taped to the door frame, and a gift box wrapped and placed in the same spot I stood, all those years ago. The gift box had the words 'open me', written on it. Taking off the wrapping paper getting serious déjà vu from last night, I found lumpy sugar coated pastries. "Beignets", I screamed out like a child.

Opening the letter it read, 'I would still like to know what you wrote to me. But in the meantime, where did it all go downhill? Or possibly take us off?' "Way to be cryptic Hope", I chuckled to myself. There was a little train drawn on the corner of the letter, the train yard.

I raced over to the train yard just wanting to finally see Hope today. In the spot we first kissed was another wrapped gift and a note. I opened the gift, and a couple of tears fell out of my eye. Hope had told me her most recent project was her best work so it had to be kept a surprise, and I think it truly is her best work. I trailed my finger along Hope then our joined hands, then down to Hope's signature in the bottom right corner of the painting. She really is the most perfect girlfriend.

I picked up the note, immediately regretting it, knowing Hope was probably smirking while writing it. 'Good girl you made it this far. Now for your biggest gift yet... me. Where did it begin for us?'

I made my way back to the school holding all my gifts, walking out to the dock and to my surprise Hope was sitting there waiting for me. Hope practically pounced when she saw me walking over to her, vamping over to me helping with my gifts.

"You found me", Hope said kissing Josie's lips briefly. "I did, but no more notes?" Josie pouted at her girlfriend. "Nope just me", Hope chuckled. "Oh that's too bad", the younger girl giggled, grabbing Hope by her neck bringing her into a kiss. "Happy anniversary", Josie said breaking away from Hope's lips. "Happy anniversary my love", Hope said back starting to guide her girlfriend to the little set up on the dock.

"You always seem to amaze me Mikaelson",
Josie said gasping at the set up Hope put together out on the dock. The set up consisted of a blanket laid out with pillows on top, a charcuterie board, champagne with glasses, and a couple of candles. "Well I aim to please, if our earlier activities didn't prove otherwise Saltzman", Josie nudged Hope almost knocking her off the dock and into the water.

"You're lucky I still need you dry and fully clothed, otherwise I would have pushed you in the water", Hope said sounding as stubborn as ever. Josie rolled her eyes, "You would never." Hope gasped dramatically, "Are you underestimating me Josette?" Josie hummed in response, sitting down on the blanket.

Hope grabbed Josie a glass pouring her champagne, Josie began drinking it while Hope continued on like a child. "Should we talk about yesterday afternoon going into last night then that going into early this morning?" Hope asked with a grin, making Josie spit out the champagne in her mouth.

"You did that on purpose", Josie pouted. Hope hummed taking a sip of her own champagne before asking, "So how did you like the gift? Did you expect it?" Josie played dumb at what Hope was actually asking about, "Are we talking about the flowers, beignets, or the painting. Because I loved them all. The painting I really wasn't expecting, I didn't realise you were painting us, when you told me it was your best work. Ohhh beignets I gotta have one now", Josie giggled, grabbing a beignet and starting to eat it.

"Of course my best work is going to be a painting of us", Hope chuckled, "But I was actually talking about the strap on. Did you like it? Was I hitting all the right places?" Hope said raising her eyebrows up and down. Josie started coughing at her girlfriends questions. "Now that I wasn't expecting. I've been asking you forever to try it out with me. Maybe next time I can wear it and fuck you", Josie said innocently tilting her head to the side. "We'll see... but I think ten is my new favourite number", Hope said with a dirty smirk.

Josie looked at Hope confused before realisation hit her, "TEN!" She screamed. Hope giggled, "Yep ten. Next time I let my wolf out it might want to bet it's record." Joise nudged Hope, "I barley survived that, I still feel some aches in certain places even after your blood." Hope rolled here eyes, "You're such a drama queen, you did amazing. I'm proud of you." Josie leaned in and kissed Hope lovingly, before placing her head on Hope's shoulder and enjoying everything, including her company.
