'Look who's finally awake, huh?' A familiar voice echoes over the sound of silence.You lean you head up to see a pair of green eyes looking at me. Your heart feels as if it is about to burst. 'Y-you're awake!' You let go of your grasp on his hand, fling your arms around his waist and lay down on the bed next to him. He hesitates a little before snaking his arms around your waist.

The hug felt like forever. It deserved to feel like forever.

Tears spiked my eyes as you lay there, not wanting to move. 'I've missed you so so much..' You cried into his shoulder. 'Y-y/n, it's alright..i'm here now' He stroked your back a little, trying to comfort you. You feel eyes watching the two of you, but man is it worth it. You hesitated before pulling away, looking into his eyes. That smile is back, the one i longed to see for what felt like a millennia.

He wipes the tears from your cheeks with his thumb. You instantly relax at his touch. 'Didn't know you would miss me this much though~' You rolled your eyes, back to his usual self then.

You don't reply, you just bite the inside of your lip and smile. You hold his face in your hands. He made your life worth living.

'Ma'am, i'm going to have to ask you to leave the room.' A blonde nurse held my shoulder. No..no..i'm not leaving him again. 'Y/n, it's alright.' Your eyes pleaded him not to let you go. 'B-but..' You tried to speak but Heizou took your hand. 'Its alright.' He repeated.
'It will only take a second' The nurse added. You stook up, still clutching his hand. He was the first to let go. Your heart ached more and more as the nurse escorted you out of the room.

Heizou's POV

Y/n left the ward, i watched her leave. It felt like eternity without her. The nurse came back to my side and began to take off my bandages. 'You know..she's been by your side since the day she woke up..' A man on the opposite side of the room said, breaking the silence. My heart burned so hard it felt like it would melt my chest. 'W-what?' I asked. I looked at the nurse and she nodded, smiling.

Biting my lip, i felt everything all at once. Every feeling, i felt it.

'How long was i asleep?' I asked the nurse. She checked her watch before replying. 'Just under a week and a half.' That whole time. That whole time Y/n stuck by my side.

The nurse finished bandaging me up and left the room. A second later, Y/n rushed in. A smile grew on my face as i saw her. She sat down next to me and held my outstretched hand. I could tell she was tired. I would be too if i had slept on a chair for a week and a half. I shuffled up to the wall, making enough space for her to lay down. Patting the bed, her eyes lit up. She lay down next to me, legs tucked in.

'So you waited for me, huh?' I whispered in her ear. As soon as i did, i saw her face turn a bright pink. 'w-whaaat..i don't know what..you're talking aboutt~' she whispered back, shielding her face. I grinned at the sight of her.

Y/n's POV

A few strands of crimson hair lay next to you. Gently picking it up, you began to braid it. The silence filled the room, but it was enough. The things you felt for Heizou were indescribable. As if you had been waiting for a moment like this. Heizou stretched forward, a free arm wrapping around your shoulders as his chin rested on your head. You felt safe life this. Yo felt safe again.

It was nice to be in a normal bed again. Endless nights of sleeping on a wooden chair mustn't have been good for your back. You felt your head fall against Heizou's chest. Every breath he took reminded you of those sleepless nights. Your eyes closed, savouring every moment as if it was your last.

Upon waking up, you were fully encased in Heizou's arms. You felt his every rise and fall. You just waited there. Sooner or later, this was all going to end, and you would have to go back to your regular lives.

You weren't sure how long it was, but you felt Heizou pull away a little, as if he was looking at you. You were his sun, and he was the planets. You felt his hand stroke away a piece of hair from your cheek. You finally opened your e/c eyes, looking directly at him. You both smiled at eachother. 'Do you know the time?' He whispered. You shook your head.

A few moments later, a nurse was by your side.
'You should be discharged either today or tomorrow if your exam goes well. Miss Y/L/N, if like to asses you first, since you don't seem to be too critically harmed.' You nodded and smiled at Heizou, following the nurse out.

'I just need to check your wounds and see how well you hold up when walking. Do you have any long lasting pains?, sudden stabbing pains?' The doctor asked. You mentioned the one on your leg, but that was just because of the wound. The pain in your head had left a few days ago.

The assessment commenced and you were doing pretty well. 'Alright then! Well done. It's safe to say you can be discharged later today. Any questions?' The doctor asked. You shook your head and a nurse escorted you out.

You rushed back to Heizou's ward, only to find him not there. 'W-where has he gone..' You whispered. With everything happening all at once, your emotions were in a high and got to the best of you. 'Hey! You don't have to worry ma'am, he's just gone for his check up. Feel free to wait for him.' A voice from the left side of the room shouted. You looked over and smiled. 'Thank you..'

Sitting on his bed, you ached to see him again. It wasn't often you got like this. So why now?
You didn't want to tell him how you felt. He opent said someone he liked friendzoned him. He never liked you in the first place, right?

The door clicked open and Heizou staggered in. A smile grew on his face when he saw you. You carefully ran up to him and swung your arms over his neck. 'Woah! Woah, what's up? It's barely been an hour..' He asked, placing his hands on your lower back as you pulled away. 'What did they say?' You asked, ignoring his question. 'I should be able to go home tonight, i just need to get rest once i'm home, you?' Your arms were still around his neck as you answered. 'I can leave later today. I'm so happy you're doing alright.' Once again, your emotions took over and your heart burned as you felt tears force their way out of your eyes. 'Shh~ Don't cry..it's alright.' His eyes were filled with sympathy. There was something else in those irises, but you couldn't figure it out.
