Chapter Nine

Everyone is meeting tonight at a beef restaurant to celebrate our collaboration for the Engineering-Architecture project, and I arrived at the meet-up place first.

I arranged our orders and drinks so that all we have to do when they arrive is get ourselves drunk as fuck.

I believe I do deserve this for now, given what's happening to me these past days, I need to drown myself in liquor to brush off the unwanted thoughts.

Just one more semester and I'm out of college. I don't need unnecessary thoughts to distract me from graduating.

As if this celebration is not a distraction already. Sigh.

"That's a deep sigh," someone spoke from behind and when I look back I saw Kihyun and he has his hand on my shoulder. A somewhat flirty touch. And I would be lying if I say I'm not noticing all these signals he's trying to send. Once again, I am trying to brush off any unnecessary deeds for a while. I. Am. Serious. 

"Where are the others?" I asked to sound welcoming.

"Everyone's together and they're on their way. So, I'm guessing we have a short time alone 'til they arrive," he said and there's that smirk again. 

"Oh, yeah? Do you have something to tell me personally?" I asked and sip from my glass of iced tea. 

"Actually, yes. I expected you wouldn't know me even a single bit but I once saw you in a gay club and thought you were really hot but I never had the chance to approach you because you always leave with some other guy as soon as I had the courage," he explained himself.

Oh, so that's what it's all about. Lucky for him, he has a lot of time to show his interest from now on. 

"You thought I'm hot? What about now?" I smirked this time. 

"Of course, I still think you're hot. And I'm wondering if you'd take me home too like those other guys," he speak his mind too confidently. 

Normally, that phrase would be offending for someone else, but me? I know what kind of a person I am and what he said was partly true. 

"We'll see. It's my place, but what can you offer?" serious plans are cancelled for now, I guess. 

"I wouldn't be too confident but I'd let you turn that sigh into something else," he said proudly. 

Well, sex has always been my stress reliever so I might just try this one out later. 

"Yo, Jaemin! Let's get this party started!" my block mates has finally arrived and they were noisy so everyone in the restaurant was giving us side eyes.

"Let's see what you have to offer," I said as I opened my apartment unit with the passcode and let Kihyun in. I guess I'm really doing this. 

"It might be weird to say this but I'm very honored to be in here and do the deed. You were pretty famous in that club, y'know?" he shared as he checks my place out.

"Famous how?" this is my first time hearing about this. Well, I hope the reason behind it pleases me. 

"You were the most mentioned when almost everyone was asked who they wanted to sleep with me. I think around 65% said they want to rail you," he said it comfortably and I wasn't uneased by it. 

"And the 35%?" I had to ask. 

"Wants to get railed by Lee Jeno," he looked at me when he said that. He probably knew I know the guy. 

Well, would you look at that. Suddenly, everyone wants to get railed by the Lee Jeno himself. Didn't expect to hear his name in this situation and its the least thing I wanted to hear right now. I am getting myself railed and he's the reason why I wanted to.
