Enjoy💗"Ximena Sai, the very well known gospel music artist was brutally attacked three days ago. It looks like she had driven to the local UDF to get a late night snack after the awards show and four guys were waiting for her. Sutton Hendrix showed up to save the day but it has many fans wondering; what the heck was he doing there? We're going to play the footage, but we should warn you. Viewers discretion is advised.." Maya turned off the television that Ximena was watching.
Her social medias were currently blowing up with support about the situation. She knew that if she was getting supported then so was Sutton. Neither of them were supposed to make a public appearance until the announcement that they were married.
"Okay little miss I wanna be a wife. Get on up. There are 3 days until your wedding shoot and then it is on and popping. The press is not going to take it easy on you just because you were a victim and there's going to be lots of questions about the fact that you are legally married now. Rosa is coming over to get you prepped later but now your work out begins." Maya grabbed her water bottle and headed outside to the track they had built in the yard.
"Ma. Come on. Can I just rest one day?" Ximena whined, this was the reason she couldn't wait to move in with Sutton. So she could sleep in, it was hard trying to get her mother to budge on certain things.
"No. Ximena. When you move in with him, you're going to need to stay at the top of the line. I need to be able to trust that you're going to still grind. I'm so worried about you Mena." Maya wanted to cry but she wasn't going to.
"Ma. I'm going to do just fine, it's just 90 days and then boom. I'm right back under your roof doing whatever you want me to do. I just need to do this, you don't have to understand why but trust in the Lord and me. You raised me well." Ximena hugged her mother briefly, she had to admit it wasn't an easy pill for her to swallow.
"You're not scared to leave me? I know you're a daddy's girl but damn. You just gone up and leave me like that." Maya giggled wiping a few stranded tears.
"You're my bestie, mama. Of course I'm scared to leave. We're going to be okay. You can come over whenever you want. I'll even get you a key." Ximena promised holding our her pinky.
"Can it be sparkly and pink?" Mena laughed at her mom as she attached her pinky to hers.
"Of course mommy. Now come on, if I outrun you, you owe me a smoothie." Ximena took off and her mother soon followed. No matter what her daughter said, she wasn't having it.
