"Ximena you look great!" Brooklyn complimented, she had drug Ximena to the mall to get an outfit for her date with Sutton. After looking through her closet, all she had was formal attire. Ximena knew, whatever her sister in law was going to pick out was going to send her mother into orbit.
"Eh, it's a little revealing!" She twirled in the mirror, the dress was short and form fitting. There's no way she would've been able to go out in public wearing this. She simply didn't feel comfortable.
"Xi, is it because of your image or do you simply just not see how good you look?" Brooklyn asked bringing in a less revealing brown dress.
"Both!" Ximena didn't feel like explaining to her why she didn't feel pretty and Sutton didn't tell them either. That was her business to tell.
"Girl if I looked as beautiful as you! I would never get married! I'd have all the girls and boys after me." Brooklyn giggled and stuck her tongue out but Ximena raised her eyebrow.
"Girls?" She questioned, Brooklynn's heart sank to her stomach. She knew Ximena was a Christian but she didn't think she was that type.
"I'll be outside." She began to leave the dressing room but Ximena stopped her.
"I just didn't think you were bisexual is all. I have no room for judgement. I'm not God." Brooklynn smiled in relief at her newfound sister as she allowed her to change into the black dress. She was very excited because they are going to knock her socks off when she see's the date Sutton had planned.
Ximena stepped out of the dressing room and Brooklynn's eyes damn near popped out of her head. The dress was not revealing at all, however it accentuated her curves beautifully. It showed off her arms which she didn't like but it was a compromise.
"Girl you look the fuck good!" Brooklynn stood up and clapped her hands. Xi turned around and looked at herself in the mirror. She was impressed with what she saw and a wide smile spread across her face.
"I do?" She ran her hands down the side of her body as she examined every inch of herself. Brooklynn nodded her head, watching her grow to love the dress. "I think this is the one!" Ximena clapped her hands and went to take it off so that they could purchase it.
When she was finally done. Brooklynn took the dress out of the dressing room and to the counter before she could say anything.
"Is this all for you today?" The young lady at the register asked not noticing who it was she was ringing up.
"Yes. That's all." When Ximena spoke, the girl looked to see who it was because she recognized her voice.
