Looking outside my little old window
To the world that lives a different life
In my own little world
Sitting here
Wishing and wanting to be
Out there in their world
A world with a bright blue sky
And grass that's emerald green
The only difference from my world and the world outside my window
Is I'm safe here
And danger waits for me out there
A dangerous beauty
That fools you
Its beautiful but deadly
The only things that's keeping me from their world
Is this thin piece of glass
