Haewon pov
I woke up in a familiar room, which wasn't mine. I sat up in the bed as a cool breeze hit my back, making me shiver. After taking a few moments to wake myself up, Sunoo walks in the room with a tray full of food.
So it's his room, that's why it felt so familiar.
"Good morning Wonnie" Sunoo smiled from ear to ear
"How did you sleep?"
"I slept okay, your bed is really comfortable"
"I know" he giggled, "here, I brought breakfast. It was supposed to be just for you but I'm really hungry and I made loads, do you mind sharing?" Sunoo says as he gives me his puppy eyes.
"of course, sit down"
We ate in a comfortable silence for a while, appreciating the peace and calm of the early morning. Memories of the night before still roaming my mind, but I didn't feel afraid or remorse. I felt relieved and grateful.
"Thank you, by the way, for last night" I thanked him.
"Don't worry about it, it really was nothing. Besides, if I hadn't done that, I wouldn't be able to do this."
He leans in and looks at me, as if asking for permission. I look down at his lips, leaning further and kissing him as he kisses back. It had only been a few seconds, although it felt like forever, before we leaned away.
"You don't know how long I've been waiting for that to happen.."Sunoo says, face growing increasingly red.
I blush in response to his comment, hiding my face in a blanket and lightly slapping his shoulder.
He moves the tray off the bed to a table nearby, then hugs me and pulls me down on the bed. He buries his face in the crook of my neck and lays there for a while, taking a deep breath.
"I have something to tell you..." he says, his voice muffled under the blanket.
"hm?"
"I know it's a little late, and I've already told you this, but I really like you.."
"yes,you've told me that sun...I believe I also said I like you back" I smile.
"can you...no wait; will you... be my girlfriend?"
I lay frozen for a bit, shocked. I open my mouth to respond but words never leave my mouth.
"I know you just got out of a shitty relationship and you probably don't wanna date me but I'm just asking for a chance, I promise I'll -"
I interrupt him, cupping his face with my hands and planting a soft,gentle kiss on his lips.
"Of course I'll be your girlfriend, Sun."
Sunoo's eyes widen, mouth wide open as his face becomes a darker shade of red.
He tries to respond by mumbling some incoherent words or sentences, but eventually gives up on trying to talk. Instead, he wraps himself in my arms and plays with my hands while smiling brightly.
"I wish I knew how you felt about me before a this, I could've spent so much time loving you, you know?" I whisper to him.
"All that matters now is that we're together, better late than never" he pouted.
"I love you Sunoo, to the moon and back" I whisper to him.
"I love you too Wonnie, forever will."
He plants a soft kiss on my forehead before we both fall asleep, together at long last.
